Am warming to this series. The inspector goes to Dubai this time, a slight disappointment because it was the very unfamiliar setting of his home country of Kyrgyzstan which first intrigued me, but it works. He reunites with his terrifying old partner in solving crime, Saltana, and together they dive in and out of impossibly dangerous predicaments. Worth sampling at the very least.
