Wonderful as usual
This game is wonderful if you are a fan of the Legendary games. I've enjoyed every version and expansion released and this adds to the fun. If you've only played Marvel Legendary, there's some added concepts you'd have to learn, but if you've played Alien Legendary, there's not a whole bunch added, but what has been is fun. The main concept that has been added is Predator play. This is a competitive play where each player is their own Predator warrior and they compete for honor(just like victory points but these can be lost throughout the game). This honor system makes winning possible even if you have died, which can be fun at times. The human mode plays just like Alien Legendary, but emphasizes on co-op since the avatar abilities can only be activated with other players coordinating cards on your turn. You are able to play through both Predator 1 and 2 movies or mix and match like Legendary let's you. This is definitely a must have for any Legendary fan, me and my friend's are always playing this on our get togethers.

See edit: missing cards! but excited to play, hopefully soon...
I love the legendary encounters with Aliens! Unfortunately I just got Legendary Encounters Predator and came to find out I was missing cards. At least 90 cards in all! Working on getting it resolved now but until then can only give a 3 and that is only because how excited I am to play the game, the condition of the items I do have, and how much I like the game concept from reading the rule book.Edit: I should have added this years ago but I did receive all my missing cards after I contacted Upper Deck, using contact info in instruction booklet. They all came in excellent condition too!

but it was great! The ability of this game to be customized ...
An incredibly enjoyable game. I've only played the co-op version yet, but it was great! The ability of this game to be customized to a huge extent simply by using the various cards and decks that come with the base game makes what would have been a great game into a highly cooperative, collaborative, and always unique experience. It manages to tell stories in ways you really wouldn't expect, and being able to mix objectives from different versions of the Legendary Encounter games extends the games replay-ability forward to near-infinity.Highly recommended for those who like cooperative games, deck-building games, collaborative story-telling, and of course the Predator franchise.

- great art - single player or multiplayer - great replay-ability
Pros: - great art- single player or multiplayer- great replay-ability, i.e. you can mix and match cards between scenarios- Can easily change the difficulty on your own prior to playthrough- awesome game matCons: kind of difficult to organize all the cards initially.- Sometimes the rules can be confusing and had to look up examples online.- The box is not built very well for organizing the cards, it just has some cheap cardboard dividers with rolled up paper.

Love this game!
Really enjoying this game. Big fan of Predator. All of the game cards were in the box. Real simple to learn the rules to play. If you don't like to read instructions then there are tutorial videos on YouTube to watch. The most difficult part is to remember to use the effects printed on the cards when played. Played 3 games (4 players) with Predator 1 movie scenario so far. This scenario seems to be really difficult as all 4 players were wiped out each time. Can't wait to try the other scenarios and play as the predators. Can also cross play with the Aliens versions. Hope they put out an expansion like they did for the Aliens versions.

Really crappy product.
This game sucks. It has 700 cards that you have to sort and organize. Way too many cards for the game to be managable, and it's extremely complicated, not intuitive at all. Mine came missing three of the mercenary cards, so I can't even try to resell it. The art is nice but most of the cards just repeat themselves, or do different things but have the same art. Will probably cut up the cards to make a collage or something. Every time I play the game I spend about an hour trying to organize the cards the way the manual says, then get bored and give up. They should have made a predator version of gloom, that's actually a fun game that does not require 700 cards and comes with all the stuff you need.

Not happy with packaging
Product itself is great. Box arrived with the corner almost completely crushed. This is what it looks like after I flattened it

Deck building enthusiasts, look no further.
I love Legendary Encounters and Upper Deck has really knocked it out of the park with Predator. From the play mat to the card designs, the game looks flawless. The slight tweaks from Alien really enhance the aspect of playing as/against the predators. Not to mention the fact that both Legendary Encounters games can be combined in multiple ways.I received all 700 cards with the game - my buddy did not! Check all your cards after purchase to ensure you have received them all!Setup and play of the came can be a little complex starting off, even for DBG pros - keep your rule-book handy.
