Exactly what I want my morning cup of coffee to taste like. Coffee is fresh, not too strong, just the right amount of that roasted bean flavor, smooth tasting coffee. Definitely buying again!

I only like light blends as I drink my coffee black and don't like the strong bitterness (and lower caffeine content) that comes with darker roasts. In efforts to save a little money recently my wife and I have been drinking pre-ground coffees as opposed to whole bean and needing to invest in a grinder. We've tried tons of 12oz bags of breakfast and light roast coffees that lean anywhere from smooth to a bit tangy, but they're palatable enough. This Organic Coffee Co. roast is a bitter smack to the face with loads of lingering aftertaste. Both the flavor and the color right from the bag scream dark roast. If you're gonna add sugar and cream, you may not even notice the difference, but purists need have prudence. It's quite the rude tongue twister for the taste buds.
