MyChild Chadwick Group 0123 ISOFIX 360 Spin Car Seat, Grey, 6 kg

Purchased this so we could take our grandson out in our car without having to move the (extremely heavy) car seat from his parents car every time. I originally thought I would buy this and if it turned out to be poor quality I could use Amazon's excellent return policy. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It appears to be very sturdy and is well made and is quite a lot lighter than the one my daughter purchased, but not so light that I doubted it would hold my grandson safely in a heavy impact. In fact I was so impressed with the car seat, I purchased another for my son in law to use in his car. I have no doubt in recommending this to anyone who needs a well made, sturdy ISOFIX forward facing car seat for their little one. A second grandson is on the way and I expect to be buying another of these car seat when he is old enough to use it.

This car seat is perfect. Its so easy to connect and disconnect. The straps are very easy to open and tighten on to my kids. It takes up hardly any space on the back seat. Sits nice and low to the back seats rather than elevated up. I cant really comment on the seat belt connections as I haven't used it as I have isofix. I've had a big name brands from mothercare etc but since I bought these that are half the price I wouldnt choose any other. We have two. And grand parents have two also. They also look very nice in the car.

This was bought for dd, and it is very sturdy and well built. I've never heard of this company and wasn't sure from the reviews, but took the plunge. I have only had it for a few days, but it is so much superior to the other car seat she had, that cost triple the amount that I just had to leave a review. I think the quality is on par or above some of the car seats at the £200 pound mark.I wasn't able to get the safety test information, but there are lateral pads that offer great protection, and the back has some type of sturdy brace support. It seems to be overall well designed and was quite surprised at the quality at this price. I have bought premium products in the past, and was only tempted to buy this due to one other reviewer on here talking about careful dads, and am not disappointed so far.The downside so far was the lack of proper packaging, as the car seat only came on the factory plastic bag (I assume) with the instruction manuals inside, and amazon box. There was no MyChild packaging, but I can't fault the quality of the product. The other problem is the lack of a recline function, I will have to comment on this later, as dd has not fallen asleep on her seat yet, my major concern is if her head drops forward towards her lap. Due to the head support and the straps I doubt that will happen, but in any case if it does I will update this review accordingly.If you are looking at this seat right now, at the moment I recommend it as my child sits comfortably and loves to sit in it even outside the car. If you are not happy you can still return it, but I'm sure you will be more than happy, especially at this price. I was at Mothercare and some of their seats were more expensive and felt way less premium than this seat.

This child seat is quick and easy to fit and remove.The Isofix guides that are provided protect the car's upholstery during fitting, the seat can be ready for use or removed in less than a couple of minutes.The overall quality is comparable with more expensive products.The recline adjustment is for ensuring a good safe fit to the car seat, it is not for reclining after fitting.(In my car the rear seats can be reclined, I have matched the recline angles by using the child seat recline adjuster to obtain a safe secure fit at a slightly reclining position so that if the child falls asleep the position is comfortable).The harness straps are easily and evenly adjusted.Based on experience so far I can recommend this product.

Very easy to install lighter than the last car seat I had. My grandaughter loves the cup holder. Really pleased with this seat & definitely worth the money would recommend

This seat was easy to fit. It is good quality and 18 month old granddaughter finds it very comfortable. I am confident that she is safe and secure in this seat and invariably nods off to sleep when travelling.

Safety comes first for my great grandson and this seat provides that in spades

This is far more comfortable than some of the brand names out there, Joie/Graco etc. It’s ISOFiX which is safer than seats held in place by 3 point inertia reel belts, although this can be fitted with a standard seatbelt. We (me, my wife and our little guy) were all very impressed with this seat. It’s from a UK company that’s been around since 1983. We did our research before buying this seat as I was unsure, but it’s honestly very high quality and a bargain.
