Banpresto One Piece Grandline Men Vol. 0-II Figure - 47955 - Shiki

There are not a lot of Black characters in Anime. So any chance we get a cool black character, i got to show some love. I got Yasopp, now him, i really want Aokiji Megahouse, Usopp. Its a great figure arrived in perfect condition. The detail is insane. Banpresto is better than Megahouse, their figures are realistic looking. The characters have dirt on their clothes, itd faded which is realistic cause pirates are dirty and these characters were the same clothes for a long time so their clothes and shoes would have some wear and tear. While Megahouse figures the characters are all crispy clean, like they just bought new clothes lol.

While I would've preferred the elderly version of Shiki the Golden Lion seen in the Strong World film, I understand his sword legs would probably serve as a hindrance to balance. Still, he fits perfectly alongside my Gol D. Roger and young Monkey D. Garp also from the same line. This is Shiki from after the Edd War, in which a ship steering wheel became permanently lodged into his cranium... ouch. Notably, this is how he appears when he squares off against Garp and Sengoku in Chapter/Episode 0. I loved the character in the movie and especially the super cool Jamaican accent the English dub gave him. The figure has a bit of weight to it, due to the "golden" locks running down his back and the firmness of the torso. Very easy to assemble, including the stand and two swords. The swords, I have to say, could stand to fit a little more snugly into his hands because they slip out occasionally. However, they stay in place most of the time. There are also no visible flaws in the paint. Every detail is accounted for. These figures are always pulling me in with their drop-dead prices. I think it's becoming an addiction.

The quality is great. You can feel the weight and quality just by holding it. As a One time production figure, get it while you can at this steal of a price. And to those wanting the elderly Shiki figure. They do make one, it's by Megahouse in their P.O.P collection. It's huge and costly, but a great figure.
