I followed instructions and it turned out fine
I started doing DIY furniture 2 years ago and I hate painting now. We bought a huge almost $700 paint sprayer that I refuse to pull out to paint smaller projects. I didn't want to spend a lot on a smaller paint sprayer and decided on this one.Things that made this not turn out to be a disaster:* I read the manual from front to back, familiarized myself with all the parts and practiced taking it apart before using it.* I thinned the paint based on the paint manufacturer's guidelines. (The manufacturer's guidance said 1/2 pint of water per gallon of paint, so I calculated how much water I should use given that I was mixing the paint with water in 16 ounce batches. I used two separate measuring cups for each and used distilled water for the thinning since extra stuff is added to our tap water to keep it from freezing in the pipes.)* I strained the paint using the provided paint strainers.* I made sure the tube was facing the front since I spraying downward.* I turned the material flow down so I didn't have too much paint coming out at a time.* I turned the little ears horizontal since I was spraying from left to right.* I tested on some cardboard before I started to ensure the paint was coming out at a satisfactory consistency, then went to my furniture.* I maintained a consistent 6 to 8 inches away from the furniture.* I started spraying before my piece of furniture and ended just after it.* I overlapped the new section with the previously sprayed section. The sprayer was easy to take apart for cleaning. Overall I'm very satisfied with this little sprayer.

Pretty darn good!
I bought this in January because I found the right price and knew I would need it to paint my garage later in the year. Because of weather related issues and time I finally got to use it. Works great. I was a little worried about coverage, because I was painting white on white and it was hard to see at first, but when it dried you sure could tell the difference. I am going with another coat because first was primer. Was very easy to clean in a bucket of water. One thing to note though, it is a bit heavy when filled but you get used to the weight. Did save me time.

Cheap but not "Cheap" Awesome!
I had an old electric sprayer that was nothing but problems. So when I had 4 sets of louvered bifold doors to paint, I figured I would give this cheap one a try. I had very low expectations. And at less than $50 I figured even if it was a pain to use it would still be better than using a brush. There is no worse thing to paint than this type of door. So many parts to get at, and so time consuming. Well to my surprise this sprayer is awesome! I followed the directions to a T. Used a very thick latex paint thinned with water 1:1. Also used the red tip. This sprayer layed the paint down smooth & even. I was shocked! There was overspray but I painted outside on saw horses. I painted 3 coats on 3 sets of doors ,both sides, in less than 4 hours at 65 degrees. 3 light coats dried quickly, so recoating could be done without doing complete sprayer cleaning. Only flushed with water between coats. When I was finished clean-up was easy. The part of the sprayer containing the trigger, nozzle & container all disconnect from the motor portion. Used the provided cleaning brush & a medium bristle scrub brush in a sink with hot soapy water. Took less than 5 min to clean everything. The motor portion has over spray on it, but nothing effecting function. I was prepared to spend twice this sprayer's price & am glad I opted for this one. Well worth every cent.

I wish I could give 0 stars!
Because I am tenacious I spent two days trying to work around the numerous issues I encountered with this item. I absolutely hate myself for ignoring some of the reviews on here and purchasing anyway. That's why I'm writing this review, so that it helps someone else make an informed choice. It's terrible. First Red Flag for me should have been the reviews on here. Then the fact that there are hardly any video reviews for reference. Not on all of the social media sites I use. This brands online presence is almost none, so if you find yourself like I did soooo many times, trying to find some tutorials or POV resolutions for these issues from other people...good luck! It took me two days to paint one room and halfway through the second day I gave up. This thing spits...I troubleshoot according to manual, it sputters...manual. It splatters, it overheats, it clogs every few minutes. Before you ask! Yes I did the viscosity test and properly thinned my paint. It was useless. Now I'm left with wasted money, wasted time, a huge blister on my hand. Listen to be honest the money doesn't bother as much. It's very cheap. I don't believe this is a case of you get what you pay for. I think this thing is just not good. Buyer beware!

Great at first
I used this spray gun to paint my bathroom cabinets. It worked beautifully the first time around. Immediately after doing one round of paint I disassembled the gun and washed everything thoroughly. When I put it back together for round two it was a NIGHTMARE!! The gun clogged every two seconds, I spent the vast majority of my time trying to get the dang thing unclogged. So incredibly frustrating! I eventually resorted back to using a hand roller. Moral of the story ….Don’t waste your money unless you have the patience of a saint and countless hours on your hands to continually deal with clogs. Save up and get a better quality sprayer.
