Hey, it's not an actual wooden box, just cardboard with a graphic on it. Same with the board, it's made of hard flat cardboard, with a similar wooden graphic. It doesn't fold out, it's just flat. The planchette is made of plastic, but it takes batteries and lights up when turned on. Thanks!

Q: Whats the difference to the board if you'er a beginner or a "professional"?

There really I no difference from beginner to "professional". I've used oujia boards a few times in the past year I wouldn't say I saw any major differences other than te material the board and eye are made of.

ha ha it never moved for me also. Here's what I believe, for it to move you need to go in to some kind of trans where u move but think something is moving u r hand... :-) I don't believe in these things, just for fun or experiment.
