Had this product for a couple weeks to perform CrossFit maneuvers with and I’m honestly impressed with these grips. I bought the black 3 hole grips and they held up very well when I was working on bar movements such as butterfly pull ups and toe to bars. They’re definitely useful when working with a curl bar or performing one arm snatches. Your hands don’t get torn up as much. Combine the grips with chalk in case you have sweaty palms or the bars you’re working with are wet, the grips work great. In a personal opinion, I wouldn’t use these for deadlifts, cleans, and thrusters as my hands tend to hold up pretty well with just some chalk for heavy weights. I noticed when performing those movements the grips bunch up between my palms and fingers when I pick the weight up, which are a bit bothersome but I did go for large grips with my hand measuring at 4.25” since i was trying to account for the “dowel” effect which worked out great. I will admit the finger holes were a bit tight at first and pulling my own weight had the leather cut into my fingers a bit, but after breaking them in for about an hours worth of use on 4 separate days in a week, they weren’t bothering me anymore. Great grips, fantastic for bar movements and would highly recommend these for bar warriors.

Just recently got to put my new hand grips to good use practicing and completing the Crossfit Open 18.1 WOD. I've very very pleased with these grips. They stayed nice and tight in my palms allowing me to relax my grip a bit and hang on for 4 rds, 8 reps each, of unbroken toes to bar. I only broke up my toes to bar after round 4 to keep my heart rate from spiking so much. They honestly felt comfortable enough for me to continue my workout without feeling like I needed to pull my fingers out of them for my dumbbell movements or rowing. Just a few days later, I had no problem hanging on to a couple of unbroken 20 rep rounds of toes to bar during another workout. I've only done a 3 or 4 bar muscle ups with them so far, getting over a flare up of tennis elbow, but they felt great. My last grips would still allow me to rip with high rep counts of toes to bar and bar muscle ups. I feel confident that these grips will greatly reduce that issue.I chose to go smaller than my other brand of grips to get a better fit. This could be contributing to the added comfort, but the BK 3 hole grips honest are just more comfortable and offer better coverage.

I just got these and only have used them once so far. They need more breaking in before I can give an accurate review. So far here is what I think about them:1. I got the 3 hole version, and I love that they cover the callous on my pinky finger because that is always the first one to rip.2. the wrist strap is very comfortable for pull ups. I haven't done any muscle-ups with them yet, but they seem like they will protect my palm near my wrist where the false grip always rubs me raw.3. The leather is very stiff, but I am sure they will fit like a glove once they are broken in, it is rather thick leather so they should last for a long while.4. I did get small tears in the crease where my middle fingers join my palm, on both hands. I don't know if it was the edge of the leather holes tearing into my skin, but I am hoping this will not continue to happen after the leather is broken in. I did do 100 chest to bar pull ups so it was a lot of work for new grips.5. After I received the grips I got a great email from the company that states very clearly that they want me to love this product, and if for any reason I do not, they will do whatever it takes to make me a happy customer. That alone shows this company has integrity, and wants to create a great product. I wish more companies were this interested in providing real value to their customers, and were willing to take their responsibility for their product if they aren't right.All in all I would recommend these to anyone that wants a piece of quality equipment for their workouts.

Great construction, great materials. I've been looking for a solution for pull-ups and other rig work that I can make work on other movements as well or at least transition quickly. They feel great on the bar, the leather is super soft and pliable, the holes are big enough that they are easy to get off and on but not so big that they allow the grip to move too much. I have skinny wrists, so I wear wraps under the velcro strap, which keeps them perfectly in place. As noted above, I think that the 3 hole grip by Bear KompleX is a pretty great product, but it is taking some time for me to get used to them. The grips are still too new and are breaking in so there is some discomfort in getting on and off the bar, and the leather around the holes digs in between my fingers a little bit, which I'm sure over time the leather will tamp down and I won't even feel it. I admit that any issue with these grips is not with the grips themselves; it's directly related to me as an individual and my hands' unique sensitivity. I went with the 3 hole option and it may have been better for me to go with the 2 hole grip instead. Depending on how these wear in, I may try the 2 hole version next. Thanks, Bear KompleX!

These are not as high quality as I thought they were going to be. I'm rather disappointed. They fit great, but that's about it. They are very thin, I'm actually surprised it still protects from getting rips.Before I ordered I read through a few reviews of people claiming they leave your hands black. I wish I would've taken that to heart, because it absolutely leaves my hands black, and it does NOT come off.Maybe their other grips are better, but these are not it. I wish I had gotten a different pair.
