Carburetor works okay, but .... apparently there was a change in carburetor design at some point within the same mower model ... so there are two different possible linkage connections. This one has a higher/thicker post with a small hole in it for the auto-choke connection, and the other one, which happened to be the one I needed, had a lower and curved slot. So far I haven't figured out how to connect it, I'll rig something up, but just take a close look at your existing auto-choke linkage connection point and compare it to the highest connector on this particular carburetor.

It is a good carburetor, but not the right one. I had to have the mower to go to work, so I used it. The choke linkage arm is the wrong application and doesn't work on my mower. I had to jury rig the thing to make it choke when starting the engine. The model of my mower is XT675. There should be another carburetor that is made for this mower. If somebody could check their tech sheets, they would know it is wrong. I can use the mower with the wrong carb but would sure would like to have the CORRECT carburetor. Thank you.

After wasting time trying to clean up the original carb I ordered this kit. Less than 10 minutes to replace and install the new valve and replacement carb. Local price on the filter alone over 5 bucks. Filled up with gas, turned on the valve and gave it a pull and was off to trim around the yard. Never installed the oversized fuel filter as the mower has a in hose filter. Won't be supporting the local small engine shop with this simple project.

I quite possibly misread the description but I had believed this item to work with the Automatic Choke on a Toro Recycler. I will never know because there is no way to connect it. HOWEVER the carburetor itself works just fine on the mower, first pull, perfect amount of gas no back fire or black smoke from too rich a mixture. That being said carburetor was perfect, I have no idea what the air filter they sent would fit in but again maybe I misread and purchased the wrong one. I would give five stars if it hooked up to automatic choke, im giving 4 because I don't care that option doesn't work. Solid so far!

You get a LOT with this kit. The price is so low. It is easier to replace an old gummed carb at this price than to try to clean the old one up. Very easy to install. Worked right away.

Simple easy to install tune up parts saved me big $$ over the small engine repair shop. I had my seemingly broken mower running again in less than an hour. the carburetor was the easiest part of the installation.

Get onto the motor as it should, however the linkage that runs to the choke wouldn’t fit because they changed the plastic piece that connected it. It was not the same as on the old carburetor. That being said I took a rubber band and piece of wire and held the chalk in the proper position, the motor runs.

This one fit well with no problems. Started up and ran fine with no adjustments. The fuel shut-off was installed, it is a nice feature to have along with new fuel hose and clamps.

You can purchase a name brand Carb kit but you're basically paying for the name, this carb kit was cheaper and worked just as well as on that's twice the price, shipping was quick and everything was included and described.....
