Lego City Garage (7642)

The Lego City Garage set came in a very timely manner and it was a good deal from Orange Onions (several dollars cheaper than everywhere else I looked). My 9 year old son just loves playing with this set! He had the complete set put together in just a couple of days. Now he has fun tweeking it, taking it apart, and making it slightly different. These are hours of enjoyment that I don't mind him spending because he's using his mind to be creative and figure things out. Legos are a little pricy, but well worth the investment!

Great Christmas gift for my 10 year old who loves LEGO sets. A good amount of pieces to keep even an accomplished builder happy. Very bright and colorful. The vehicles are very sturdy which allows for actual play with them. The picture on the box is accurate however keep in mind that the garage floor in the picture is not part of the set. The photo makes the set appear much larger and more complex than it really is. Still a good choice.

My kids love the set. It comes with lots of tires. They have constructed an wide variety of wheeled vehicles with the parts. One of the better collections for younger children.

Bought this for my 5 year old son. My son loves, LOVES trucks and the tow truck was something that just floored him. The garage is built well and has been able to survive numerous attempts of destruction by my 3 year old. It seems that Lego is making better attempts to add more levels of legos to ensure strength in the construction of its buildings. Overall a great set and would recommend it to anybody who loves trucks!

My 7 year old newphew wanted this set to add to his lego collection and could not find it in the stores. I was happy to find on line and my nephew was so surprised he loved it. We spent a few hours together putting it to together. A great memory.

My soon to be 9 yr old son really wanted this for Christmas. I found it cheaper here than in a lot of other stores online. It came within the time stated when ordered. He loves the tow truck! There are a lot of little pieces, so beware if ordering for a smaller child.

I purchased this toy for my 5 year old son. He loves putting the sets together and had no problem with this one.However the set is made of lego's thinnest bricks and only takes a slight movement for the buildings to fall apart.At first I thought it was the way he was picking it up, but the same happened when I tried to move it.In the end I returned it in exchange for the 'fire station' which he simply loves!(Yes the prices have gone up because I saw it mid year for about $15 less).
