Trouble lifting things meant that I was in the market for something smaller than a weighted blanket with similar effects. This works great, being a good weight and size balance to be able to have a therapeutic effect while being easy to carry. The only thing I will add, because I knew it would be a gamble when I got it, is that the stuffed animal hair is long and that plasticy/oily feeling kind that comes with the cheaper stuffed animals. If that type of texture is a huge trigger for you, this likely won’t be a good fit. Otherwise it is very soft and cute, with the length of the fir providing another sensory outlet to help regulate!

My grandson has trouble sleeping and his new friend Molly keeps him company at bedtime. He loves her and she helps with his sensory issues. The weight and size are perfect to make him feel comfortable all night long. Molly is perfect.

The worst thing about this item is that I can't stop petting it. I love the heavy weight of this item and the fur is soft and snuggly. The ears, in particular, are compelling to rub. My only complaint (aside from feeling the need to constantly have this dog on my lap) is that while the weight is distributed into sections throughout the blanket, the heaviest parts are the legs/feet. Couple that with the difficulty to get the insert out to go in the microwave, I may end up adding a separate insert to go just in the middle that can be easily microwaved for warmth. When warmed up, it does heat up well. The color and design are exactly as expected. I do love how the functionality of the lap blanket means it can hang out pretty much anywhere (on my shoulder right now). I am definitely pleased with this purchase.

Purchased for my son to help him calm down and help him with controlling his 'big feelings'. He loves the softness and how floppy it is allowing him to have it on his lap or laying over him.

i love this dog, it is so nice i love that it is weighted and you can heat it up or cool it in the freezer. The quality is great and it is comfortable, the size is perfect and and the warmth is great.

My 9 year old granddaughter was delighted at the receipt of this gift on her recent birthday. It comes with a backpack so she can travel with it. Very cute, well made
