Pentel Arts Pointliner Pen, (0.5mm), Black Ink, Box of 12 (S20P-5A)

These are the smoothest, nicest-writing pens that I have ever used. The printings (logo, etc) on the pens themselves are prone to wear off, but that is unimportant.

Excellent deep black 100% water impermeable ink pen. These pens are built tough with a resilient nib (not easily deformed) that reduces evaporative loss of ink. The nib and ink minimize obstruction of ink flow due to excessively rapid drying and yet I have not experienced smearing during use. sold at a very reasonable price. The pen is also made tough and each part resists deformation.

Works Ok, although the line it draws a little bit thin

When using a Micron, I have to hold it upright so the ink contacts the paper. With this pen, I can hold it at a comfortable angle and it writes beautifully! It’s so smooth! Love these pens. New fav.

I paint rocks and was looking for a good black fine liner pen to use outdoors. This ink holds up well on my projects, which is under 3 coats of my outdoor varnish. I put it to the fade test being in the sun all day for several days and it passed, unlike the other name brand fine liner pens that I tried. I am happy with these pens and recommend them for projects that will be subjected to sunlight.

Love these pens for drawing, or just writing. They write smooth, dark, not too thick or too thin.

I'm not sure if I got a bad batch? These pens start great. They are cheaper than a lot of other options. The nibs do hold up. However, I am on the third pen and they start to dry out pretty quick. Ink keeps being super inconsistent after a few minutes of use on a new pen. I did receive them during a very cold weather period, and/or maybe I got a bad set. Been trying to be gentle with them and the caps were on in the box. Not sure if they are cheap and this is expected, or if I should be asking for a new box?

This is my first time using fine liners, since i needed them for a online course. That said they don't have good flow over long quick marks marks, which seems to not be the case for the online course instruction examples. If you are drawing and planning on making lines longer than 70% of the length of a A4 i'd suggest trying to find something else.

Par contre, la moitié est livrée avec l'encre sèche.

I double checked the order I clearly ordered 0.5mm, and even the bar code sticker on the box says 0.5mm, but the box itself says 0.05mm and the pens inside were 0.05. But otherwise, the pens seem fine.
