Yes, this is expensive for what it is. The metal buckle is painted, and the nylon is standard quality.I have installed this on a first gen KAK blade. Slight modifications were required to the brace which took about 30 minutes of hand filing. It would be faster if you want to use a rotary tool. I was cautious and still left some marks on my brace, no biggie. I would consider placement before you begin modifying your brace or stock.I intentionally left it tight so that it wouldn’t pop out. The rubber o-ring is kind of a joke so don’t rely on that for retention.

It does what its advertising to do. I definitely needed it and it allows me to attach my sling in the configuration I wanted it in. The QD connection is solid and the nylon is sturdy. $25 just seems a bit high for what it is and what it does. Good product though.

Does exactly what it's meant to do. Allows you to use a QD sling with stocks that have no QD mounting options. QD fits well and it seems as though it will be very durable. For those of you that also refuse to change out that cheap stock look no further! 😂

Very high quality product. The QD mount couples tightly to all my slings (Magpul, Savvy Sniper, Blue force Gear). It is perfect for sub 2000. The rubber ring and the thread loop act like a stop from both sides of the slot on the stock. The sling mount does not slide back and forth at all. Awesome design.

I refused to change my cheap stock so I purchased a very expensive QD instead!

Ok so I may be a little cheap these work well and do what they are intended for but to be honest the price is kinda crazy but I guess I'm kinda crazy cuz I bought 2 🤣
