Great cocktail cherries!
I went to a fancy bourbon tasting a while back and while people were gathering, we were served old fashioneds that were topped with Luxardo cherries. Not only was my whiskey horizon opened up that night, but so was my cherry horizon. I had to get some of those. Until I saw the price tag.I searched around and saw Rex mentioned as another fine cherry. I bookmarked the Luxardo link and decided to try Rex for quite a bit less. I think they are a great substitute... Far and above better than the Maraschino cherries that I had grown up with. These are packed in a rich, thick syrup that compliments an old fashioned very nicely when a little is stirred in.Luxardo is great, but these are too and they're about 40% cheaper!

Sweet, tangy, and delicious - high quality
We have been using these for the past year or two for Old Fashioneds, and they are fantastic. For the money, we prefer them over some of the other high-end Italian Maraschino cherries - we have tried them all. These are more affordable, but do not compromise on quality or flavor - they easily compete with the other brands. They have that nice firm texture, sharp tanginess, deep sweetness and complexity, dark red color, and thick syrup - they are great. LOVE!

Best Combination of Taste and Value
I have been on a cherry kick for Manhattans and desserts. So I have tried many of these brands as this point including Luxardo, Fabbri, Bada Bing, Woodford and a few others. These are right up there with the Luxardos, but the price is so much better.

These are the best substitute for Luxardos I have found so far
While they don’t taste exactly like the Luxardos, they are also from Italy and they are very close in flavor and very good and a much better value. If money is no object stick with the originals but if you want a better value these are great.

Love these
I enjoy my old fashions and these cherries are great. They don't get all grainy and weird after I open them. I don't put them in the fridge and they last just fine takes about 3 to 4 weeks for me to go through a jar and no spoilage. they come well packed. Compaired to the $$ jar these are just as good if not better because not as much $$ per cherrie lol. Have gifted one jar to family and they love them.

Delicious but…expires in 3 months
They taste great in a cocktail and I bought a 2-pack. I think they’re just as good as Luxardo and much less expensive. But I gave one jar away because I will never use two by September.

I Pride Myself On My Old Fashioneds And These Are the Only Cherries I Buy…
I have been through dozens of jars of these; they are VERY close to being the same as the Luxardo cherry, but much less expensive. I have tried many brands over the years and have alway come back to these without re-shopping after my third or fourth jar.I occasionally use an Amarena cherry In cocktails, but prefer a Luxardo-like Maraschino cherry. Luxardo-like in quality, texture and flavor of both the cherry and the syrup. If you like the Luxardo cherries, you will like these.I hope this helps
