Instructions are lacking one key detail but good product.
Great product but customer education and proper directions are lacking. This requires an a 10 minute period before drinking it. Clinic SOP: (maximize & standardize conversion) Per dose target: 1 serving KOYAH (3.4 g) → aim for ≥80% conversion (≈ 22–23 mg SFN). Neutral, cool activation: -In a glass beaker or lidded jar, add powder to 120–180 mL room-temp water (no ice, no heat). Swirl to fully wet. Set a timer: 10 -15 minutes at room temp. Keep covered because SFN is volatile. and drink within 30 minutes of completing incubation. Do not refrigerate for later because SFN degrades. -No citrus, vinegars, hot liquids, or hot foods until after the 10–15 min activation. -If adding to a smoothie: activate in water first, then blend into a non-acidic smoothie. -Oncology-trial-like (~60 mg/day): 3 × 1 serving, spaced ~4–6 h apart (AM / midday / PM). Splitting helps maintain exposure (SFN clears quickly). --- Daily Instructions (with references): • Put one level serving (scoop or 3.4 g) of KOYAH powder into a glass. [1] Clarke JD, et al. 2011; [2] Fahey JW, et al. 2015 • Add about ½ to ¾ cup of cool or room-temperature water. Stir or shake well. [1] Clarke JD, et al. 2011 • Let the mixture sit for 10–15 minutes at room temperature. This allows sulforaphane to form. [3] Song L, et al. 2006; [4] Fahey JW, et al. 2012 • Optional: add a pinch of mustard seed powder or take ~200 mg vitamin C at this stage for extra activation. [5] Shapiro TA, et al. 2001; [6] Wu R, et al. 2019 • Drink the mixture within 30 minutes of preparing it. Do not store for later. [3] Song L, et al. 2006; [4] Fahey JW, et al. 2012 • Avoid mixing with hot liquids (coffee, tea, soup) or acidic juices (orange, pineapple) until after the 10–15 minutes are complete. [7] Matusheski NV, et al. 2004; [8] Fahey JW, et al. 2012 • Repeat 2–3 times per day if aiming for higher daily intake, spacing doses every 4–6 hours. Drink your broccoli!
If "drinking broccoli" had a name, this would be it...It tastes like pure fresh broccoli!..As you drink it, you'll just feel like you're doing something great for your body...Broccoli sprouts help reduce inflammation, are a strong antioxidant, support neurological processes in the brain, and a whole lot of other great things..I plan to drink this supplement daily "fo eva"!! (Update / Sept. 4)...It's been a few weeks since my first review on this product..All I can say is that taking this supplement everyday for the last month has been a true game changer..I feel incredibly better!..Much less aches & pains due to less inflammation throughout my entire body, clearer skin, less cravings for sweets, less belly bloat, and more energy...Although sulphoraphane is not a weight loss supplement, research shows it helps and minimizes fat cells from forming...I will keep taking this supplement..If you're trying to decide whether or not to buy this supplement, just go ahead and give it a try. Yes, it's expensive.. but it's worth every penny.

Reduces inflammation
This is amazing! Works to reduce inflammation in the body based on my recent blood tests for lupus. All the inflammatory tests were great after taking this for a month. Love it and so thankful I started taking this.

easier way to consume the sprouts
I am glad to be living in a time when I can eat this instead of the living sprout. I went looking for this product because the fresh sprouts I kept buying were making me sick. I found that it is difficult to grow fresh raw sprouts that don't lock in bacteria. As a result, food poisoning from the living sprout is hard to avoid. Either that or I'm just particularly sensitive, but finding the freeze-dried kind was quite fortunate for me. The taste of this powder is just subtle; it's not overwhelming. It is clearly broccoli sprouts I am tasting, but not with the strong bitter aftertaste that fresh sprouts have. I'm not fond of the taste of broccoli sprouts at all, so anything that reduces that taste to just a hint is a welcome change for me. I do wish that these sprouts went down better with a smoothie or something, but I'm afraid I find them easiest to consume as a form of "seasoning" for some type of red meat (steaks, burgers, etc.), which kind of negates the nutritional value. I truly hope this has all of the same nutritional benefits that fresh sprouts have. If so, this is clearly the better choice. Only docking 1 star because of the price: It does seem a bit pricey, but if the nutritional claims are true, then it is still worth it. Another issue is the sprouts are as dark as the photo they show of the "competitor's sprouts", rather than the light green freeze dried sprouts to the right of it, so that struck me as a bit of false advertising.

This is a super food
I bought this for me. But one day, I gave a little bit to my chihuahua and she loved it! We both love this product.

Sprout power!
We bought with full intentions of learning to grow sprouts on our own. This proved to be so simple, that we are scratching learning to garden off the New Year’s resolution. Got this for the many benefits of its new cell generating power and it’s excretion of bad cells of from the body. My mom recently passed from a genetic cancer and we are on a cancer prevention journey now. The best thing is that it’s easy to get in a serving of broccoli and i have already noticed wrinkles around my eyes reducing!! My gut feels better and my mood has improved. I’ve been using it for only a month. I ordered a second supply and two friends of mine are using it now too. Tastes like broccoli sprouts.

I’ve read studies on the positive effects of sulforaphane in pregnant & nursing women for their children - specifically with neuro development & the prevention of behavioural/psych related conditions - and considering I haven’t been craving broccoli or kale I decided to go the convenient route and put this broccoli sprout powder in my smoothies. This is day four and I have really noticed a BIG uptick in energy and mood. I’m 30 weeks and was feeling very drained but I really believe this stuff is making me way more energetic, with more stamina for errands and fantastic workouts. I highly recommend for any woman who wants a brain boost and of course the highly beneficial effects on hormone balance & liver health. I’m going to continue with this stuff for a while!

The seal was partially open, bits of the contents were scattered on the jar.. I didn't want to risk injesting any of the powder :( I see others have had similar issues - fix the seal problems please!

The only downside is the price. They taste fine (I actually like the taste) and not as sprout-y as people say. I would have this as a regular smoothy staple if not for the price. I've had two containers so far.

Mine arrived completely sealed. It smelled fresh when I opened it. I added it to my smoothie which was blueberry chocolate, and I can’t lie people…it has a broccoli taste. Not overkill but just that peppery sulphur aftertaste that broccoli has. I only added that tiny scoop. The spinach one from Koyah does not add any flavor in my opinion. I’ll use this though for the health benefits of broccoli sprouts, which I can’t seem to get into my diet on the regular.
