I bought it for my niece for part of her first birthday gift from me. I love it, my sister and brother in law want to kill me. Lol. It’s easy for the little ones to figure out how to use. I love that it makes 2 different sounds.

We bought this on recommendation from our speech therapist and our toddler loved it! It was super easy to use and helped with some of the speech exercises we were given. Definitely entertaining for a toddler and takes the abuse most toys get with that young age.

We purchased this little trumpet for our 6 month old: Here are our pros and cons:Pros-fits our baby’s hands so easily and she figured how to play it right away… a little blow would make it sound, which is perfect for little ones-my baby loves it… it entertains her on its own for a few minutes (which is great for a baby) and you take turns blowing into it with her, this can go for a while-very sturdy (we have owned for 3 months now, not a scratch after being dropped on to the tile floor over and over)-it is cute to look at no so much to listen to and this is my conCon:-this little trumpet is loud and it sounds like an annoying whistle… I am sure it will get interesting when our baby becomes a toddler and plays it all day longHaving said that… it was a great little way for our baby to learn to blow a whistle!! I do recommend it

I got this as a Christmas present for my niece and she was 1 yr + 1 month old at the time she received it. She figured out how to use this trumpet very quickly and my brother-in-law sent me a video of her using it vigorously! I could hear her mother asking in the background who was making the noise. It sounded like a cross between a kazoo and one of those rubber chickens. There are two mouth pieces to this trumpet and it makes a noise both when you inhale and exhale. It's a nice and loud sound that could get annoying after constant use (just what I was aiming for hah!). This toy is definitely worth it especially for those doing some gift giving to children of other people. Highly recommended, easy to use, effective entertainment for kids, great price! I can't speak for the sturdiness but I'm sure it would last a long time as long as it's not thrown across the room repeatedly.
