Q: Anyone have advice on how to use the plastic pour thingy?? It made a mess on the top of the canister

That plastic thing is very helpful. It comes off easily for cleaning too! First tear the metal tab that encircle the metal cap. Then, the metal cap pops off at a notch pretty easily. Then you turn the plastic spout so the oil pours over it. That simple. Then when finished pouring you press the clamp pressure style metal cap back on. They should have used a nice screw on/off cap instead of that metal press on/pop off cap. I'm gonna pour a bunch into a better glass bottle, like an old oil bottle I saved that has the plastic pour spout limiting plug that's removable. I find this oil pretty tasty and not too too expensive. Hope this helps. 🙏🏼
