This book is a must-read for anyone wishing to start a membership website
It is an amazing book.I have an initiative named "Brown Leaf" for eco-friendly management of dry leaves. Burning of dry leaves is one of the major causes of pollution in India and a contributor to global warming. With Brown Leaf forum, we are able to utilize dry leaves which otherwise would have been burnt.Recently I launched membership concept where I help members to start their own project at household/ community-level.Your book provided so many great inputs. It helped me prevent many mistakes before I could make them :-). Without your book, I would have continued publishing blogs and case-studies and wondering why members are not making good use of it.Now I am able to put myself in my member's shoe and communicate accordingly.Thank you once again.

Pretty good stuff
A fairly good guide to retaining members and improving the membership experience. Slightly irritating style in terms of being written during a plane journey and repeatedly letting you know how long the author has left on his flight. But overall a solid read with useful information.

Several useful implementable ideas that will make a difference
This book has some very useful concepts which I will implement into my SAAS app myproactivebusiness.com My view on such books is that if you gain one useful insight from a business book that you can implement and it makes a positive difference, you've got your money's worth. This book has several such ideas. I can see how to improve my onboarding (which currently is weak) and it gave me some ideas on how to make the most of our 30 days free trial. It's also a quick read. I would recommend it.

Reads like a cringy self help book
You have to weed through the iron to find the few pieces of gold in this book. Would only recommend if you're in the situation and have no idea what to do next.

Feeling scammed
I regret buying it. This whole book is to get you to become his client. Not a single piece of worthy advice.

Ideas great. Writing awful.
With so many 5* reviews I thought this book would be amazing but the author has clearly had a review- generation campaign within his large audience.Read it for the content and try to ignore the author’s annoying anecdotes, repetition and hubris. The ideas are good.
