I use a lot of currants, both for baking and for Middle Eastern dishes (and picadillo) as my kids are not fans of regular raisins. This is the best value I've found, and the currants are good quality and size.

I needed currants for a specific sort-of-fruitcake recipe (Season 2, Alton Brown). My grocery store no longer carries currants. These are very good quality; I recommend the product.

UPDATE: My second order. Still the best, even though the price went up by $5. These are by far the BEST currants I have ever used. They are plump and juicy and full of flavor. The price is unbeatable. I love them so much I'm going to stock up and make sure I never run out. (I use them a lot!)

I use these to make wonderful bran muffins! They disappear in no time....so delicious! I love to eat them right out of the sack. I have never tasted real currants until I tried these!!! Do not miss out on these!
