Great supplement to homeschool
We’ve really liked supplementing with this book! My child doesn’t fight me on doing the daily activities because they’re always a little different and he’s already made big improvements. Highly recommend!

Great!
These are very good quality, a lot of information, hands on and problems kids can do or solve! Love them, I bought a bunch of them. Great for at home work!

This is a great book to use by itself or to supplement a program.
Several of our grandchildren our participating in virtual learning this year. They are very bright children, and are not really being challenged in school right now. So, we decided to purchase some extra school work for them. They love working with this workbook, and so do I because it is so easy to use.

Supplementary Videos Now Available!
Thank you to everyone who's taken the time to review the 180 Days of Spelling and Word Study series. As the creator of these books, I want you to know I appreciate all your kind words and take your suggestions seriously. I'm very excited to announce that I've started creating "kick-off" lessons for each unit and am publishing them for free on my YouTube Channel: 180 Days of Spelling & Word Study w/ Mrs. Rhoades. Each interactive lesson introduces the new word list, draws the viewer's attention to important spelling patterns, rules, and affixes, and provides kid-friendly definitions for the vocabulary. I hope you enjoy the videos as much as my students do!

Very good curriculum
Homeschooling 3 kids this year 4, 6, 7. We have purchased kindergarten and first grade. We do add some curriculum but for the most part this series covers about everything. I have all the basics. Writing, spelling, reading, science, mathI do believe you could use this by itself even with no teaching experience.

Good for homeschooling
I started this with my homeschooler who is doing 1st grade. He and I both appreciate the variety of activities in each week. There’s practice making plurals, analogies, synonyms and antonyms, homophones, and more. It’s a great supplement to our mostly oral phonics and grammar lessons in our other Language Art curriculums, as it gets him physically writing his answers. Each page takes about 5-10 minutes with me sitting next to him to help keep him on task. I also appreciate that it follows a systematic approach to spelling patterns and it’s not just random words every week. Overall, I’d recommend this to other parents looking for a quick and easy way to incorporate some spelling practice and other Language Arts concepts into their child’s education.

Analogy, Synonym and Antonym Development
My 1st grader really enjoys this book. I purchased this book for seat work but because some helpful hints wasn’t included it became a 1-on-1 activity but only for 1 week. It’s helpful if on the analogy page you write compare the words and think about howare they related, linked and connected. Give the definition for synonym and antonym on each applicable page. You can just make an equal sign then write same and opposite. We both love this book. My 6 year old gets so excited when she gets the analogy right. She is excited about starting 2nd grade in a school instead of being home schooled that she want to keep up with her studies. After the 1st week then was able to do each page on her own. She still loves this book. She goes through it with no problem.

varied, interesting although educational
My (mentally challenged adult) daughter LOVES this book! She needs help with most exercises, but a normal child would need minimal help, less as they progress through the book and get used to the exercises. The word lists are heavy on word families, but most word families are phonetic, so it will reinforce either type curriculum. This book is genius! Kudos to the author!
