I recently purchased the MidWest Homes for Pets Deluxe Micro Terry Bed in Taupe for my dog’s crate, and it has proven to be a fantastic addition. The ultra-soft micro terry fabric provides a plush surface that my dog seems to find incredibly comfortable. I got this to fit inside a pet carrier. It was hard to find one small enough/in the measurements that I needed, but this one fit perfectly! It was great quality and both sides were the same, meaning one side was not a lesser quality "bottom" lining material like some pet mats. The mat was thicky and sturdy enough that the corners held their shape inside the pat carrier and didn't slide around. The material is also soft and plush enough to be comforting. When it arrived, I placed it in the bottom of the carrier to see whether it fit and my furbaby came to investigate and curled up and fell asleep on it immediately. I hope more colors become available. We love this item and I would buy it again.

I disagree with the other reviewers who had quality issues. I own four of these pads and have had them several years. They have been through the washer and dryer countless times. The dogs dig, chew and move them around to get them just how they like them. They are not indestructible, but they have held up very well. 2 of the 4 have a small hole along one seam, but because they are double sewn around the edge, this only let out a small bit of stuffing which I quickly removed. I've washed both many many times since, and they haven't gotten any worse. We do use them as CRATE pads, though, and we don't confine our dogs to the crates long enough for them to get too frustrated and destructive. They are only in there for meal time and bedtime. I'm really impressed with how well the four of them have held up to being washed at least once a week for several years and well loved by dogs who definitely are not perfectly behaved. ;-) They fit our Midwest wire crates perfectly, but they were also great in our plastic airline type crates the we used before.

I wanted a pad that wasn’t really thick to put in my dog’s crate. She sleeps in the crate at night. I put a small throw in her crate; however, she likes to dig in it and ends up getting the blanket in a ball and has to lay on hard crate bottom. This pad is ideal. It’s thick enough to provide her a cushy bed but not too thick to use inside her crate. It’s exactly what I wanted. I liked it so much that I bought a second one to replace the pad in my other Pom’s crate.

Using it as extra padding in one of my cats houses. It fits perfect and I think they’ll enjoy it as soon as they realize that it’s more comfortable than before. No issues with delivery and it was a great price.

Our female cat wasn’t a fan of the plastic ledges. So we had to place her cat carrier in the bottom of our catio so she would cry to get out. Stumbled upon these cushions after reading another review and I am so glad I purchased. Initially I thought they were pricey and not necessary but the cats love them and it was definitely an investment well made. She no longer uses the carrier at the bottom and is content for hours at a time sitting/sleeping on these cushions. They have a nice soft top layer, don’t move too much on our trays and would be easy to clean. They lay flat and seem durable and well made. Our cats seem warm and cozy sitting on them and the tan color matches our hammock perfectly. Make sure to measure your ledges as in our research they come in a variety of sizes so pick one that best fits your needs/space.

I am the type of person who reads every review and looks at every single item before purchasing something. What I was looking for was a crate mat that would fit my 36 inch kennel and would replace the plastic mat it came with. More important though that it be affordable and indestructible/less likely to be destroyed by my husky mix. I was skeptical after receiving the item but after using it for over a month I have to say I am so impressed. My husky rips up everything but for some reason she does not chew on this mat at all. Even when she gets frustrated and paws on it and lifts the corners, no chewing. It is awesome. The mat almost feels like it has flexible plastic backing because it is firm but flexible and soft. I use it in place of the plastic pan and it fits perfectly. I don’t think it would fit well sitting on top of the 36in pan. Can be tricky to wash in an upright washer but it worked well enough folding it in half. Looked good as new after.

This bed is ghe perfect size for my dogs crate and it is nice and firm as well. She really likes sleeping on it during the days. The only issue I have with it is that it STINKS!! The minute I pulled the plastic off, we could smell it. This weird cross between a dirty fish market and urine soaked clothes that have been sitting out in the heat. I'm not even kidding. We have left it out in the sun to air out, we have Febreezed it... I'm not sure what else to do. Can you wash it? Will that ruin the shape? The smell completely overpowers the room that we keep her kennel in. She doesn't seem to mind it, but I'm getting to the point that I want to just call it quits and throw the thing away. Yuck!

Product nice and soft, but needs to have non-slip pads added to the underside as the mat slips on hard surfaces
