Why wait?
I have for many years used a Ryobi drill for installation of screws and thought it more than adequate. However, when faced with building a large decked area I considered the impact driver and am really glad I bought one. In the end and due to the brilliant price I ordered from Amazon US and it was delivered four days later, no Ryobi box but well packed and full instructions. It is a lightweight small driver but packs plenty of punch, in fact it does take a little time to get used to as there is no clutch as with the drill and needs care especially when using on smaller screws where you will need to take it slow. I also found this to be the case on PZ2 headed screws v T20 type. When using on Hex headed coach screws it really comes into its own and is formidable. It is so much quicker and more powerful than a drill driver and with the quick change collet this allows switching between bits with ease.If you are looking at adding this tool to your toolkit you will not be disappointed..........

Worked Great
Needed it for mower blade removal and it works great. Takes no time now for the sharpening. Yes it has more uses, but this was my #1 reason and I appreciate the feature for it and already have multiple 18v batteries and attachments so...

Works as intended
Some reviews knock this product calling it junk, it's far from it (Ryobi is made by TTI , the same company that makes Milwaukee). The Good -× For a 1/4 in drive, this tool has some hammering weight behind it that can drive some long screws, or drill bits with ease.× Variable speed× Low cost for a 2nd or 3rd driver.× Point of work LED light. The undesirable -× heavier than some other 1/4 impact drivers.× Variable speed is completely in the trigger, and the impact can be difficult to control.× The size is a little on the long side compared to brushless impact drivers.× The retaining socket isn't a one hand operation. You must hold it back while removing the bits.Overall, it is a great affordable option for an extra driver. I work with wood a lot (hobbyist), and I like using multiple drivers so I don't need to change bits often when working on projects (such as 2 hole pre-drill to avoid wood splitting, then the screws, so I use 3 drivers).

Great drill at a fantastic price.
I have used Ryobi tools for the last 8 years. This drill is the best. Price was so good I ordered two. I use them everyday.

Was a steal at 27$
My favorite go to tools are Milwaukee, which I’ve used for years, back when I first got some Milwaukee tools ryobi was super low end, these days I’d say these One+ HP tools are significantly better, this 27$ drill functions about the same as my 300$ MW drill in 90% of applications, only difference is I’m scared to drop this one scared the battery will break, but it works great has plenty of power and has a pretty rugged and durable feel to it, time will tell how long it lasts I use it daily for handyman work, but at this price even if it breaks I can buy multiples of them for the price of a high end name brand drill, also it has the same parent company as Milwaukee anyway lol that’s gotta count for something right?

Reliable medium duty impact wrench
This replaces a similar one. I think the brushes have worn out. Can be repaired and refurbished but the new one will keep the work going. A good price point and I have the batteries already
