Behind The Anger Card Game

I do behavioral health intervention services with kiddos. This game encourages focus, respectful communication, identifying feelings, and coping skills. It is an amazing addition to my work activities.

Great for small SEL group. Easy to play and entertaining

Have used this game twice with my son. It is confusing at first but definitely helped giving him different ways to calm himself.

Easy to use and fun

Fun game that my 9yo niece likes. She is learning new words and feelings, though still needs to learn the point of the game, how to deal with her emotions. I think that will come with time and repetition. She has asked to play it again when she is bored.

Using these cards to help my students identify where their anger is coming from and how to self-regulate. Great tool for one-on-one and small groups.

I had hoped that this would be a game I could incorporate into my practice and send home with my families. The instructions are confusing and does not give a concrete example of how the "Go Fish" can be applied. The best game I ever had was the game called "Furious Fred". I wish this game was still available because it is concrete and easily for children and parents to understand.
