Works as designed
The knob portion was larger than my grill opening. I had to enlarge the opening in order to install

Used this in my small BBQ -- works great
This little guy worked perfectly, lights up every time. One issue with my BBQ: the mounting hole was a little smaller than what this unit expected. I made it work, but you can make things easy on yourself by measuring your hole before you order the replacement spark generator.

Uses a AA battery
Be careful as it may not fit the opening that a AAA battery ignitor is in. It didn’t fit mine. Just a bit to big.

Save matches!
With a little trimming, this igniter installed in my wall heater easily. Works like a champ.

This unit was not the same as the one it was replacing. I had to drill the hole larger.
The product is fine but needed a larger hole drilled in the heating unit.

Universal gas ignition switch
I was very happy how the product came packaged . I think this switch was a great value for the money. It seems to be duriable. I would buy it again and it was a little cheaper the local home stores.

No button to push?
Seems like a decent part but when I received it, there is no button to push? It’s just a plastic cap?

Great for replacing RV stove igniter!
Watched a YouTube video about replacing RV stove igniters, which make a lot of clanging noise when you try to fire them up, and which go bad in about a year. Several YouTubers suggest using this type of igniter instead, which is quiet and battery-operated, so they don't wear out. You have to wallow out the hole that the igniter button goes through in the control panel, so it's not a super simple upgrade, but once it's done, it's great.Check to see whether you need a single outlet or one that goes to each burner. The videos I watched all had three outlets, but when I went to replace my igniter, I found that there was only one wire going to an ignition point that lights any one of the three burners. That was great because the three-outlet one was a bit too wide anyway.
