What is the chair made of?

It's a heavy canvas material. I've only used it two days so far but it seems like it will hold up for a long time.

I need a chair that is no more than 8 inches off the ground, how high is this chair off the ground

Than this chair would be recommended, it's only about 6 inches from ground

Is the seat back high to go behind your head or just as tall as your shoulders?

Hits base of my head when I'm sitting with my back straight against chair, but I'm able to slouch with legs out and lay my head back on top of the chairback. I usually do this when reading without shade and hold the book up to block the sun. Has some give so it cradles my head nicely.

Simple and Perfect!

I love this chair! It is perfect for sitting on the beach with your feet in the water. It is low to the ground and comes in a bag (like a camp chair) that makes toting it easy. The cup holder is perfect for a canned drink. It does not lie back or have a headrest or anything like that, but if you are looking for a simple, comfortable beach chair, this is the one.

Sturdy, easy to carry and open, and reasonably priced

Very sturdy, easy to open and looks just as pictured. Bought this because I like to sit close to the water at the beach, it is very low to the ground. If you are not a spring chicken like me, (Lol) you need a hand from the young whipper snappers to get up. Overall, good quality and reasonably priced.

Best low back chair for beaches or concerts.

I am 100% certain that this is the absolute best low back beach chair for the money. It's sturdy, it's comfortable, it's easy to pack up, it has a cup holder, it has a back pouch for a magazine, or a phone or whatever, and the colors say "I like to party". If anyone would like to challenge me on my statement, please send me free chairs to review. Until then... this is the best.

Great chairs and with the limited time price reduction happy with the purchase. They don't hold sand, just a solid tap or spray of the feet & they're good. Storage bags provide easy shoulder transport freeing up hands for the other thousand things you're carrying. The only thing I'd change is a higher back to hold up my head for a little power nap.
