Used on my Ole .45 cal Winchester apex inline muzzle loader. Had higher profile mounts on it, these are shorter so I can C my rifle sights through my C Through rings.

It works for the limited Mount options for your CVA wolf here's the thing you need to know it is a Weaver rail which means that not all picatinny accessories are going to fit right on it and given the spacing of the Weaver slots.This is where things get tricky some picotee knees can be converted to this type of rail what you want defined as the right one don't try to match the spacing but on some picatinny rails one of the rounded pegs is actually ground flat and that's what you want if you're going to attach anything picketing to this type of mount.

The mount fit my CVA Optima perfectly. I added a Vortex 3-9x40 Crossfire II V-Brite scope to the mount.

Worked as it should. Easy to install and yes, it did come with screws. I used it on a CVA WOLF. From unboxing to mounting the optics was less than 5 minutes. Nice it came with an allen wrench. Great seller. And suprised with Amazon. Actually came when they said it would. Would definitely reccomend. Nice price and as described.

Weaver see-through mounts and Bushnell 3-9x blackpowder scope on a newly purchased CVA Wolf. The gun comes from the manufacturer with 4 holes in the barrel for scope mounting. I wanted the scope close to the rear and could do so with this base using existing 4 holes in the gun and holes in the base. I installed this base so that it hung over the back of the barrel and over the quick release breech plug. NO problem there, still easy to remove the plug. With the base in this installed position, it also went beyond the breech plug and made contact with the rear of the gun. This is what caused the problem, a binding I could feel when pulling back the hammer. Like the base was preventing the break action from fully latching closed. No base = smooth hammer pull.I fixed this by grinding the bottom of this base that overhung the breech plug until it no longer made contact with the rear of the gun. And left it mounted on the gun in this overhanging positon. Pushing 1" groups at 100 yards, 30+ rounds. So the base seems stable.Not a hard fix but I expected this base to install on the gun without having to make any modifications.

Quality product at a great price. Although not specifically mentioned this item did fit my son's CVA Hunter. This product is a welcome upgrade to the poor quality mount and optic that came as an option with the CVA Hunter. Quality appears to be very high, especially for the price point. Would highly recommend purchasing this product. You will be much happier pairing this mount with an optic of your choice rather than spending an extra $50 for the standard mount and optic that come as an option on the Hunter series.

This does come with mounting torx 20 screws someone else said it didn’t come with them

Heavy for what it is, weighs over 4 ounces, very strong though. Would definitely work well with QRW rings.Fits CVA Scout V2, I’m using it on a 44 with RMR. I took a gamble that it would fit my rifle, it does.
