Great replacement. Quiet running.
This was super easy to install, but a few modifications had to be made. The wires were both thinner and shorter than the old ones, so I had to drill a new whole so the wires could reach and attach. Also, where the fan blades connect we’re just about 1/8” shorter, so I had to give just a little space between the blades and motor. All in all it works great and is super quiet, so I’m sure my neighbors are also happy. Great value.

Not an exact replacement but definitely works.
I bought this to replace the motor in my Carrier air conditioner. It wasn't too difficult to get to and pretty easy to get it out. I did find the wires were about 10 inches shorter than my old motor, so I soldered the old wires over to the new one. As some others have said, the shaft is a little shorter than my OEM motor. When I first installed the motor and turned on the AC, it made a terrible knocking noise. I found that since the shaft is shorter, the blades were hitting on the conduit for the wires. I had to put the fan as close as possible to the end of the shaft and this gave me the clearance I needed. All in all, the motor is quiet and works like a charm.

The shaft was a bit short
This was a fairly easy install. There are two things I did not like, otherwise, I would have given a 5 Star rating. 1) The wires were a bit short; so it was a tight fit to run the wires. 2) The shaft was also too short and the fan ended up too close to the body of the motor. The motor is very quiet so that's a plus.

Worked perfectly
Thought I was going to have to spend a ton of money on my a/c however this fixed it up right away. Did make sure I bought a fin removal tool too, that made the job way easier. Did need to splice a little extra wire on to make sure that everything lined up, but that wasn't hard at all.

Good price and fit
Good price. Installation went well. The spacers on the 4 bolts were slightly shorter than my old one so the blades touched the plastic tube holding the wires. Had to make minor adjustment

Not oem!!
Not oem, ran in reverse polarity then burned out. It had spent more time in my trash can than It has in the ac unit. Went and bought the true oem trane motor and paid the 300 dollars I should've spent instead of paying for this so called "oem" part to save some money.

Drop-in replacement
This was a drop-in replacement for the motor in my Carrier condensing unit AND it runs much quieter than the original. Bolt pattern lined up, the mounting thread was the same. FLA is rated at 1.3A whereas the original was 0.95A. The shaft may have been slightly shorter than the original because I had to install the fan blades with the set screw at the end of the shaft (vs. ~1/4" back on the original shaft). I didn't bother to measure the shaft length since it worked A-OK. The wires are shorter than those on the original motor by ~ 9". They were long enough, though - there was still sufficient strain relief.
