Great purchase!!!!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Bought this for my bottle fed kitten. She doesn’t have siblings or a momma cat to teach her how to be a predator. So she was using me as her teacher .. this provides stimulation of stalking, attacking, and the kill. So she learns human hands and feet are not for biting! Great value, great item. Fast shipping

Well-This is really cool, but....
SO this fish really grabbed the attention of my male cat, but really just scared the female cat .It works as described and I really like the the fact that it is rechargeable, cuz I gotta tell you, constantly replacing batteries in my cats toys is a bit of a nuisance! The motion detection works 90% of the time, but a few times I forgot it was on and it scared the living bejesuses out of me- This is particularity terrifying at night, but gives me and others I tell a good laugh- so if you really wanna get someone good this toy is it!The size of it is quite big as well(about the size of a 6 month old kitten) Ill be on the look out for a smaller version of this as I think the female cat would be more attracted to a smaller moving fish-Overall I am happy with the purchase and the Male kitty and people I like the scare are also happy! Its a cool cat toy and worth the try depending on your cat!

The cats love it!
When I first saw it, I thought that it would be to be too big for the cats to like it, but that didn't end up being the case at all. One of the cats is a little bit reluctant about it, but she is really funny when she plays with it. She'll tap it and jump backwards when it moves She is getting use to it, though. The other two are crazy about it and the one pictured will play with it constantly if you let her. It holds a charge a lot longer than I thought it would and it seems to be made up of pretty tough material. My cats usually rip things to shreds, but the fish is holding up really well. It makes a fast ticking sound, kind of like a clock, but I have not found that to be bothersome. She'll even run around with it in her mouth. She's getting some much needed exercise!

This Thing Can FLOP!
We have a rescued kitten who looks sweet but terrorizes everyone and everything in his path. Apparently he was not with his mother long enough to learn about good kitten manners, as in no biting. While our other cats work to teach him that, this kitten needs distractions that are as tough as he is. This flopping fish is up to the task! It’s bigger than I had thought and when it flops, it FLOPS. Even the sweet demon kitten can’t hold it down although he tries. Thankfully, that wears the kitten down a little! It’s scared me when I forgot it was nearby and it started flopping as I walked by but that’s just fine! I keep wondering when the battery (USB) will wear down but it takes quite a while.

Great toy for the price.
I wanted a toy to entertain cats when I'm asleep but not waste batteries. This is rechargeable and because it stops moving when the cats walk away the charge can last for days when left on. Just don't turn it on right off the bat. Introduce the fish with the enclosed cat nip and get your cats used to it. Then turn it on. I didn't do this at first and right out of the box it freaked the cats out and they wouldn't go near it to play for quite some time.

I’m bummed
UPDATE - I must have done something wrong because I tried again and haven't had any charging issues since. My cat STILL loves this toy and plays with it all the time. Lately he's taken to laying on it and at 22 pounds, that's pretty much preventing the fish from flopping but it keeps on working.Design improvement would be to move the fins away from the zipper a bit but it's not a huge deal, just a minor frustration.I have changed my review to 5 stars and my cat says the same!Original review:I am so bummed. I fully intended to give this 5 stars and a major rave. My cat LOVES this thing! I’ve had it a few weeks and he still plays with it. He’s never maintained interest in a toy longer than a week but this thing is his favorite.Problem is the charge no longer lasts. I’m home all day and the toy is nearby me, so I know how much my cat is playing with it. I fully charged it this morning. He played with it three times today for about 5 minutes each time. Tonight it’s dead.It will go into hibernation mode if not being played with, and at first it worked great and held its charge for days. But 3 weeks later and it’s just a dead toy.Note it takes a USB cord to charge. The cord comes with, but not the plug in part of the charger.

Cats love it!
I def recommend this toy! I have 7 cats and they all have been at least interested in this fish. Although it is a little loud (mechanical noise) it doesn't scare my cats, but does get their attention. It's big, which is good because they can grab it and kick it with their hind legs. We also discovered another game to play with it- put it under a blanket and they will love to pounce (just not a blanket you don't want to get snagged). This was also the cheapest moving fish toy i could find on prime, and I'm sure the quality is as good as the $15 fish!
