Will not fit Chevy Avalanches!
Does not fit Avalanches as stated in the description. I installed it per the instructions & the small bracket that came with it would not allow enough clearance for it to swing open/close correctly without cutting the rubber molding. So I tried different sizes of of washers to make the clearance- but no luck! It actually tore the molding and then "popped" off my complete left rear tail light assembly. So I removed it & I guess I can try to make it work on a failed shock I have on a generator top.
