READS THIS BOOK!!
I can’t fault this book at all, it was pure perfection! It had all the tropes I adore in it and I just couldn’t put it down.Remo & Serafina have my whole heart. I loved their story so much! They matched each others energy perfectly - no one in this world would be able to handle Remo the way Serafina did. They deserved each other!!Remo has an absolute hold on me!! His character was so complex and deep, the more I read about him the more I fell in love with him. He will forever own my heart!!Also, I’m just utterly obsessed with the Falcone brothers. Their bond is unmatched. I’d walk through fire for them!!

Love, love, love this book
I've read all of the books Cora has written in this mafia saga and out of the 9 of them this one has stayed with me for weeks, so much so that I had to write a review. I like the Las Vegas Camorra the best out of the 3 "organisations", they are described as quite ruthless and bloodthirsty but I love that women are given a different treatment and as Remo says numerous times they are not regarded as just porcelain dolls. Never thought I'd say that considering the plot of the book but yes they seem to me the most humane out of all of them. I don't particularly like Luca and the New Yorkers so I might be biased (he's got a very archaic mindset and Aria is a Pretty doormat - regardless of how much love there is between the 2 - the whole relationship and their interactions make me gag ) alas back to the topic of conversation, I love Remo and his brothers, their bond is beautiful. Serafina and Remo are the perfect couple and I love that there is a very gradual and real connection that develops there. The love didn't turn them into mindless emotionless wrecks and the insta-love did not kick in. It took a major event and a decision made under pressure to get them back together. Their interactions made sense, their feelings made sense the same as their doubts. I guess having read a lot of similar books and generally romance novels there is a cliched blueprint of motions and actions that usually drives the story. This though, was a breath of fresh air, for the last 2 weeks I have read and read and re-read passages and will continue to do so until we get more of them.Cora needs to give us more Remo and Serafina, even if I have to beg lol. I'm just thinking that it will probably take years. But it's better than nothing.Unrelated, but out of all her couples I need more of Remo - his life is too exciting - there must be at least a few more books to get out of it and Ryan (Growl)'s book that one felt unfinished, i mean the guy is a badass we need to find out more, let him come face to face with his half brothers maybe?!

His angel and her ruin
TWISTED PRIDE (The Camorra Chronicles #3) Cora Reilly4.5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Remo and SerafinaRemo's the Capo of the Camorra. Older brother to Nino, Savio & Adamo. Has and protects them fearlessly. Ruthless, Killer. Dangerously intelligent. He's out for retribution against Dante and the Chicago Outfit who breached his territory. So ideally he kidnaps Serafina on her wedding day, which is sacrilege.Serafina's Dante's niece, boss of the Chicago Outfit. Known as the Ice Princess. She's proud, shows no fear, noble. She's lead a sheltered life, but isn't stupid. Promised to marry a made man to join families within the Outfit. She's on her way to the church, to wed her betrothed, and is kidnapped by Remo and his brothers. She knows more than she looks and isn't to be underestimated.Remo wants to break Serafina, and will do anything to get what he wants to get Dante to hand over his consigliere Scuderi, Fabianos Father, who sent out to kill Fabiano when he was just a boy. Remo saved him and gave him a family who would protect him. Fabiano wants to kill him, for what he did to him and his sisters. Scuderi is not a nice person."I wasn't going to be a pawn or a queen, and Remo wouldn't be the king." ~ Serafina"It will crush them. They will bleed out slowly, painfully, without ever feeling my blade. This will destroy them." ~ RemoI loved the touching moment between Remo and Adamo, his younger teenage brother. Well, as touching as Remo could possibly get. It's a battle of wills.Does Serafina get rescued?Does she escape? Will she break down some of Remo's walls?Does Remo completely break Serafina? Why don't you read it for yourself. Can be read as a standalone, but recommended to read in order.Savio is up next for a book.

Remo stands out as one of my favourites male protagonists of the series.
In the third book of The Camorra Chronicles, we follow the Capo himself, Remo Falcone, as he falls for the captured Outfit ice princess, Serafina Mancini. I was extra excited for Twisted Pride in particular because Remo is such a fascinating character that I could not wait to spend some time in his company and in his head. The experience did not disappoint. Aside from Twisted Pride, I've read another nine of Cora Reilly's mafia romance books, and while I always enjoy them, Remo is so different to the other male protagonists that he really stands out as one of my favourites. Serafina proved to be a fantastic counterpoint to Remo, but she was also a strong enough character to stand on her own. Overall the pacing was better than in some of her previous books, though the final chapter did feel just ever so slightly rushed and tacked on. If you've already read Bound by the Past then you will know one side of this story, and getting to see a more intimate version of it was so interesting. It does mean that you'll roughly know the direction that the story takes, however, I still felt utterly compelled by Remo and Serafina's perspectives which made the story feel fresh and interesting.
