Kindle Version is Horrible
Total waste to try this on the kindle. Can’t get past the horrible formatting, typos galore, etc. Maybe it’s decent hard cover but would never know from the kindle version. Don’t waste your money.

Makes the code comprehensible
A picture tells 10^3 words, as they say, and the pictures, along with the paraphrased code sections and author's comments, summarize the most important code sections in a form understandable by most anyone.Note that you will still need to acquire the code to get the full picture, i.e. if you're a contractor, electrician, etc. But until ASTM v. Public.Resource.Org is overturned by SCOTUS (which it should be) we will live in a kafkaesque world where we are not allowed to know the laws that we are required to follow. I'm not sure that this is dumbed down enough for homeowners, but there are books targeted at that market. The (unlicensed) electrician I was working with on my current project was so impressed with this book that he wanted one for himself.I reserved the fifth star, as this does not cover every code provision. What it does cover, it covers excellently. The e-commerce pledge: To improve the reliability of online reviews, I will post a review of every item of significance I purchase, and update the review when my opinion changes.
