Simple and good
The Palette is a piece of masonite, while glossy finish on both sides, and a comfortable beveled thumb hole. It fits in my Julian French easel case, which is why I bought it. Good price, too. Would probably cost more to buy the Masonite locally with prices being what they are these days.

Disappointing. Came chipped and broken.
I was really excited to receive this, until I opened the box and it came chipped, broken, and seemingly puffed up in one area.

Cheap is good sometimes
I hate to spend the inflated amount of money that art supply places want for 'art' products. This is a piece of Masonite that works to put paint on and mix it with palette knife. It's not overly expensive; it's a bit heavy for long work, but I put my palette on a taboret, so not a problem.

Works Well and Holds Up
I use it for oil painting and I'm horrible at keeping it clean. So once a month I have to go at it with a palette knife and turpenoid and this thing has held up to the abuse. The angle cut thumb hole looks comfortable enough but I keep mine on an easel shelf. Color is bright white and the surface is semi-glossy.

Palette o.k.
Pretty good size, but if I had seen the clear acrylic oval one about same price before, I'd of chosen that one. I'm happy with this one, tho.
