Cocalo Couture Surie Hamper

I really like this hamper! It's a great size and I like that I can easily wash and tumble dry all of the cloth materials. The colors are great and the fabric seems to be nice. It matches my nursery decor of the Carter's "Laguna Monkey" and even though it is a baby boy's nursery, the colors match well and it does not look too "girly"! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because there is no "locking" mechanism to make it lock into place when it's open. Another reviewer mentioned worrying about a toddler pulling on it and it falling down onto him - I can see this as a potential issue, and wish that it had something that would lock it in place when open to avoid it collapsing down. Other than that, it's a great hamper for my needs.

Probably my biggest disappointment in the surie cocoalo couture line. Its tiny! I guess I expected it to come to my hips (im 5'4), but alas, it comes a little lower than mid thigh on me! Its also not very wide. I didn't want to have to bend everytime I threw a onesie in there. Oh-well. I still like the fabric. But the hamper seems to be flimsy as well. Im afraid when max learns to crawl that if he touches the hamper or slaps at it and its empty it may just collapse on him! Not sure if im keeping this one. Such a shame too considering how cute it is and how well it matches the rest of the stuff:/
