I bought this to replace an old, stock PS4 Pro fan that made my system sound like a jet engine. This is good quality, is very quiet, and works perfectly. No complaints here!

My ps4 pro kept ramping up to max fan speed even in menus and it was soooo loud. The proper jet engine sound. Replaced the fan, which I found out was already a nidec fan, the one that's supposed to be quieter than delta, as well as replaced the thermal paste and pads with thermal grizzly for both. Whatever it was it worked and now it's barely audible compared to before. Wish I'd done this years ago. It's been a problem since I bought it.

Miracle worker! Thermal paste, combined with this new fan, brought my old PS4 back from the brink of death! Was overheating and freezing constantly, but now runs smoothly and quietly. YouTube videos guided the repair and this paste was the key to reviving my console. 5 stars

Louder than the fan that came stock in my PS4 Pro. Maybe just had some manufacturing defect. I thought my old dirty fan was loud but this put it to shame.

I installed this on my PS4 Pro about a month and a half ago. Initially, it made a significant improvement. Not silent, but I'd say it's comparable to a small usb desk fan. You hear it, but it doesn't drown out a TV at low volume.My problem is I'm noticing it getting a bit louder again. Nothing crazy, but I game late in the evening mostly when my house is pretty quiet and I'm noticing that I have to turn up the volume a few notches now to be able to hear over the fan.I've kept it clean, I've replaced the thermal compound, and I've made an effort to really keep the space around my PS4 Pro clear of any obstruction, so I'm not sure why this is happening again. Will probably be looking for a different replacement in a few months if I had to guess.

I replaced the fan because my original one was so loud. So far this one is working great. I had to get up close to make sure it was working. I just installed it today and am testing it. If anything changes I will update. Hopefully nothing does change.

I cleaned out the heat sync and replaced the thermal paste at the same time and it helped with the noise over all. This fan is quieter but not by a whole lot. IF it’s noise your trying to minimize continue opening PlayStation clean out heat sync and replace the thermal paste. Voila!! Insta quiet.
