This is a great tool. However, the points are not equal when closed. I found this a little disappointing from a company with a long history like Osborne. It wasn't hard to fix and given the size of these dividers, it really doesn't make much difference. If I'm going to be laying out a 1 inch circle, I wouldn't use these. But still.....

The dividers came deformed

If only they'd make this divider for pencil usage. Excellent material. Holds precisely as I use it to scribe wood, construction paper and later metal sheets.

Bought put in tool bag when to use it locking nut missing

Screws tends to unscrew it self when transporting. I'll suggest getting a Malco #24 instead
