I love these. Why did I wait to get some? I keep them on my work desk and have one or two in the afternoon if I feel like I need something sweet. They are sugar but they last a while and are delicious. I just reordered as I am getting low.

Got this for my cousin- he likes to chew them up. Unfortunately he broke a bunch of teeth/ crown/ bridges and stuff....cost him thousands! Must have tasted great up to that point!

I was saddened recently, when I started shopping to buy some Brachs brand butterscotch and cinnamon hard candy to find that as best I can ascertain, its out of business and no longer being produced. So I proceeded to shop around, searching for the best replacement I could find. I thought there would likely be some company out there who was targeting the old brach's market and would try to produce candies as close to Brach's butterscotch and cinnamon as possible. From all my reviews, I figured this brand was my best chance at landing on such a close substitute.However I have to tell everyone, neither the butterscotch nor the cinnamon will pass as good replacements for brachs. Neither is close in taste, and I would not buy them again. However if someone is searching and they don't have brachs as their ideal model, then they might be happy with this brand. the price was pretty good compared to other competitors I saw while shopping. But its no brachs, and its not for me. If you are searching for brachs replacement, this brand is not it. The company name is Arcor, and the brand is called sweetgroumet.com, apparently produced in Argentina and packaged in the US.

I absolutely LOVE hard butterscotch candy. This was purchased in the hope that it would taste like the traditional kind. Not even close!The first taste that hit me is the slightly "tangy" one of the glucose syrup. Not surprisingly the #1 ingredient. Made in Argentina, not sure how relevant it is.I had purchased a different brand, some time ago, blown away by the smooth buttery taste. The problem is that for the life of me, i cannot remember WHICH one it was.One thing for sure, I will NEVER buy this one again. If i buy BUTTERscotch, I want to taste BUTTER!
