The media could not be loaded. Haven't even used it yet, but I already love it! Soft, stretchy and the perfect width for mask elastic.I've been sewing for over 25 years. I've made everything from clothing to handbags. This is NOT bias tape. This is a soft elastic. It would never serve as bias tape, as others have said in their reviews.Great product. Highly recommend this for making masks.I wasn't expecting the nose pieces, but I'm so glad to have them. I'll be using them in surgical masks.

I've tried a few kinds of elastic for my face masks and they all made my ears hurt so badly!! This is the golden ticket right here, I can work a 12 hour shift and my ears don't hurt at all. The elastic is super soft and good quality. I'm not a fan of the adhesive nose pieces, they easily break and don't keep your mask secured like a traditional nose wire. I didn't even care about the nose pieces, they were a bonus. The price on this is amazing compared to local stores. If you make masks or know somebody who does, tell them about this. Its a total game changer.

I bought these for mask making and this combo is PERFECT. First of all the elastic is so soft and just the right stretch. It's more like stretchy fabric rather than straight up elastic. But the included nose wire strips are GREAT. They're not wire but an aluminum strip cut just the right size. The ends are rounded so there's no poking the nose or tearing through the fabric. There's a peel strip that leaves a good adhesive surface for placement on the fabric while making it. GREAT purchase for anyone making a lot of masks.

Pros: The pros look shorter than the cons, but that's because the pros don't need much of an explanation. I would buy this product again (or buy in black, vice the white spool I currently have) if I needed more. Which I probably won't, despite making a lot of masks for friends and my family--it'll take a while to go through that spool using approx 19" per mask. With any luck, we'll be out of masks before I need another spool.- The price is great. Really, pre-COVID, I bought all of my elastics at fabric stores and would have never thought to pay so little by the yard.- The elastic is really soft--no hard edges that will become irritating 1/2 way through a day at work or school.- The elastic is easy to sew (as far as elastic goes).Cons: Shrinkage! I have cut off and resewn elastics on the masks I made in July with added length and newly-purchased elastic locks. Over the course of several months, the elastic starts to shrink. The mask material was all prewashed and I am not seeing puckers or misshapen masks that would point to the fabric shrinking--it's definitely the elastics. We do not wash anything on hot, so laundry shouldn't be the problem either.The quality control is....uneven. There were parts of the spools I've had to cut out/not use because the edges were frayed. So you will lose some length to avoiding those spots.The other con--the little aluminum strips for the nose break. I've gone back to sewing 20 gauge wire (with the edges looped in to avoid sharp edges) into my masks vice these little strips. They held so much promise, but aren't durable enough (or strong enough for heavier cotton) to keep your glasses from fogging up. The elastic is worth the price without the little metal strips--so just shrug and avoid using them.

Making bracelets for my classroom, this product was perfect. Cut the lengths you need. Stretchs nicely and easy to use

This elastic is great! It worked really well for 2020 masks and has held up nicely through multiple hot-water washes and medium to hot drier runs. It does get slightly pilly; but, our masks are over a year old and still going strong. Very comfortable even with long weartime (my kids wore them all day, everyday (m-f), for full, in-person school with no issues). They may have stretched very slightly; but, not enough to have to replace.

While it is very nice soft elastic, I actually bought this for the metal strips.With the mandate to wear a mask all the time, I was struggling with my glasses steaming up. Those metal stips not only make your mask fit better, giving you better protection (the surgical masks the doctors use have those strips), but if you wear glasses they are really necessary. They keep your mask away from the edge of your lenses and stop your breath from fogging your vision.If I make any more, I will sew this into the seam but I have been just using the self-adhesive on them to add them to purchased masks and they have worked out well. I don't know if they will wash without letting go but all my masks say to hand wash so I suspect they will be ok if I don't use real hot water on the strip.

I bought this when most other elastics were out of stock or grossly marked up. It is ok, and I have used it for lots of masks. So far it has held up after many washes. However, I would not have bought this if I had seen it in person first. It is very soft in a way that makes it seem like it will not keep its stretch for long and could easily be overstretched. But I don't know, maybe this ultra softness makes it more comfortable around the ears.The nose bridges are better than what I was using before (paper clips) but I have to replace them on a few of my masks already after a month or so of use and washing. I think I will make the nose clip removable on my next batch of masks so they don't get mangled in the wash... or maybe get one of those hard shells to put my masks in for the laundry.

Perfecto para cubrebocas. Es elástica y suave. No lastima como otras cintas elásticas.

Es tal cual como se describe. Es un rollo grande unos 20cm y es bastante producto. Es suave y elástico. Buen precio.
