I bought this as a replacement capacitor for my 3/4 HP sta-rite well pump. The old capacitor was rated for 124-148 uF. This item was the closest I found for an exact replacement. I measured the capacitance and it came in at ~160 uF. It still works for my needs but the capacitance is off by a little. This could be attributed to manufacturing variances akin to the silicone lottery, I'm not sure. Just be aware. It works well so 5 stars for that but minus 1 star for the inaccurate capacitance.

The media could not be loaded.  I replaced the start capacitor in my Bendpak lift, a 250VAC, 650MFD+/-10% with a 12k resistor across the poles.Aside from needing to transfer the resistor, which you'll want to do to extend equipment life as it prevents arcing on the contacts during frequent use, this was a near identical match at a fraction of the cost of the capacitor Bendpak wanted to sell me.Amusingly, it measured out at 709mfd, which is just beyond the top end of its expected range. No one's gonna complain about that, though.

Arrived on time and hooked it up and motor started right up!!

Had to change wire connectors. That's really no problem. Plug and play otherwise.
