Needs to Be Ironed Before Use But is a Decent Runner For a Low Price
I've attached a customer photo of the runner I purchased from this page, in navy, right side down. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and did not read the full information showing that this was single-ply with pockets at the end. The edges are nicely hemmed, but that also means you have an odd bump along the edge of the pocket when the runner is properly face-up.This is 100% polyester. It looks fine and that is not a negative for me. It has the mild sheen and slight slubbiness that does give it the "faux silk" look that is noted on this amazon page.I think you can see from this photo that the pocket V does not have creased edges when it comes. You have to iron it to get creases on the end pockets so they lie flat nicely, as well as to get out the folding creases on the main body of the runner. But, I had no trouble ironing the runner, which is a plus. That makes it not quite as hassle free as I expect from polyester.This runner is OK = 3 stars, and I'm not deducting anything for the fact that I didn't read the product description! The low price is a definite plus.Happy Reader

Mystery Spots
Love the color and the price BUT when I went to iron it (on low heat) right before company was to arrive, and two marks suddenly appeared on the runner. At first I thought it was water from the iron but I checked and the iron was totally empty and dry. I tried to iron over the spot to dry it and it just got bigger! This happened in two areas.With guests almost on my doorstep, I had no other option so I had to use the runner with those two awful looking dark spots on them. I just tossed the runner in the wash this morning, cold water on delicate cycle. If those "mystery spots" disappear I will come back and up the rating, but right now I am a bit disappointed. Guess it's all about getting what you pay for.

The color is as displayed. Its not the nicest material but will do for a runner on my dining table. The ends would be alot better with a tassle or something to weigh them down. They have a tendency to not lay down over the ends of the table but for the money its a decent value.

They are a nice quality material if you are looking for a plain
I have ordered several of these to use on my coffee table and on my dining room table when the leaves are in. They are a nice quality material if you are looking for a plain, thinner runner. I prefer the solid color to use with different table settings and vignettes. Great for use under centerpieces as they are flat with no design.

Very light weight
This is very pretty but extremely light weight. It is just long enough to cover my coffee table. I had planned to use it on the dining room table but it is too flimsy looking to really look good there.

Plainer style but equally terrific table runner!
Both table runners we ordered are perfect. I will get a lot of use from them. Thin enough so placemats fit on top or near them without any lumps or bumps. Well made and true to color.
