hard to follow
I can play the guitar...cords...and thought it would be nice to play a litle lead guitar...in watching the first 5 min of this cd..I was lost and could not follow what was going on..he went to fast and I just turned it off and said...I guess i wasted my money on this.

Not An Easy Way To Learn Lead Guitar
It was a very cumbersome and boring way to learn lead guitar. Scale patterns were taught in an octave to octave method and not by the normal box patterns, thus making it harder for a newbie to grasp, in my opinion. The modes were not taught the way I had learned them, which is the easier way to remember and play them. The instructor even mentioned near the end that he had gone beyond the scope of his easy approach to some material that was way past the title of the video. I was not impressed at all.
