Real Bananas
I will definitely be buying this product regulaly. I wish the banana flavor was a bit stronger, but the fact that it's real banana and banana flavored is a huge deal breaker. I do add xantham gum, so I'm not sure about thickness without that.

Excellent!!!
Great banana π powder. I mixed it in my pancake batter. It makes great pancakes. One tablespoon is all you need. I also put one tablespoon in my smoothie. It is great π, especially if you run out of actual bananas, it will work in a pinch.

Tastes Okay. Many Details
RevisionPost2024May24 for 5Lb Organic Banana Powder:β’ 2024May22-Ordered; 2024May(28-30)-wasETA; 2024May24-Arrived(daysEarly) ~1:30pm via FedEx. Expiration (Best before 2028FEB17)--Almost 4yrs.β’ Color Tannish-brown, far darker than picture advertisement. Its a fine powder.β’ Taste, okay. Seems not as fresh as hoped.β’ It shipped direct from Florida, and days were fairly cool. Per tracking it seemed to travel much in cool of night, then where we live states away, it was far cooler, only getting hot in the last hours before delivery. We retrieved package the very minute FedEx dropped it off, and we scanned it readily with thermometer; FedEx box interior was ~74β. Exterior temp near same, only ~1 degree warmer. It seems package was kept partly cooler in the FedEx truck, as it was pushing something over 80β at moment of arrival.β’ We expect that somewhere in Florida, its color became darker, for maybe 1 or 2+ reasons. Florida is hot, and bananas turn brown fast, and this is [100% organic raw ripe banana], (no preservatives). It might stay normal banana color, for as long as it can be kept at (guessing) a [steady] low humidity, climate controlled 68β or lower; not sure. Maybe we got of batch that was a bit beyond ripe. Or any combination of these or other matters. Is the picture in ad, how it should be, or the color it is, ...only for moments or days? Why is ours much darker?β’ Wish it were fresher &/or a tad bit less ripe. Upon getting it, we sampled in plain water, in various flavors of whey-powder, and other types protein powders and smoothies. It was okay in everything; ~Β½ to β as great as fresh banana. Should be good for baking also, and other recipes. But maybe not dishes, that call for fresh chopped banana. It would work for banana bread, maybe in ice-cream, etc. For some it may be an acquired taste.β’ We really bought it, so that we'd have banana on hand, at any time, in part for nutritional needs.β’ We plan to keep in fridge, or in a perfectly climate controlled place (away from heat of kitchen) and in some form of a double hermetically sealed container. Or such as a air tight bag, inside a glass jar (ideally with a vacuum seal)... especially if we attempt to keep it for a longer time. We never want to allow it to exceed 68β.β’ We may buy again, but it costs so much. Would like to see it go on sale. Real fresh bananas would be greatly preferred, for about every reason. We bought because of so many instances of difficulties with obtaining fresh bananas, often in part, due to years of continued Broken Supply Chains... where many stores simultaneously have been out of bananas. We can also now--simply mix banana-powder into protein smoothies, even if the power goes out, so long as we have water and spoon or battery powered frother-whisk.β’ This brand also sells a version of Green Banana powder, which green bananas are a "resistant starch".

Banana powder doesn't taste anything like a Banana
It's my first time having Banana powder and it's not what I expected. I was hoping for a powder that tasted fresh and like ripe bananas, but this powder is brown like ground up overripe bananas, kind of muddy tasting and nothing like a fresh banana. I'm sure some people will like it, but if you are looking for a nice banana flavor, this isn't it. Maybe look for freeze dried bananas that are ground into a powder.

Not a good product.
Smells like sick. This must be a different kind of bannana or way overripe. The fine powder Clumps up and doesnβt mix smoothly. Buy a different brand. The other brand I bought was much better.

tastes like ripe banana, blends smoothly no grit
i use this with many other powders and it blends well . i think it tastes exactly like ready to eat banana. i chose ripe banana over green because its easier to digest. if you're looking for something healthy for GI tract, this is a good choice.

Delicious, Tastes Just Like A Banana!
I'm really baffled as to what other people think bananas should taste like, based on poor reviews of this product. To me, this tastes just like powdered banana.I use it for a digestive ailment, mixing with plain psyllium husk for flavor. I love it. I love bananas! I look forward to my fiber every morning because of this addition. Also, strange that people believe powdered banana should dissolve. Just because something is powdered, it doesn't mean it is water soluble. Instead, stir thoroughly and drink quickly to ensure the banana particles are mixed into the fluid at time of ingestion, and not fallen to the bottom of the glass. As far as my health condition, IBS D, using this, the biggest changes I've noticed are when I combine 1 tbs psyllium, I tbs powdered banana, and 1 tsp of powdered l-glutamine. Has helped a lot, but not 100% safe, as spicy foods or restaurant foods still go through me.
