should be one year for parts and labor on printer. The warranty on the toner should be the same. I had a problem with an HP Toner I used for a while then ran into a problem with so I returned it to Staples where I purchased it with the receipt. You can also go directly through the HP Company for a replacement cartridge (but they will probably send you a postage paid return box/label for you to return the damaged one - if they don't offer you one and want the product back, ask for the the postage paid return box/label).
