This replacement filter worked for less than 24 hours. It just stopped wicking water. I rinsed it and got it throughly wet again and restarted the humidifier. Less than 24 hours it stopped wicking again.

The filter was too tall for my Honeywell humidifier causing it to leak.

This is a solid capable replacement filter for a Honeywell humidifier requiring a HC-14 filter. It works just like the original with perhaps more flow-through. My humidifier seem to empty quicker, which I attribute to more water wicking into the filter. This is a benefit. The filter does not, however seem to wick water all the way up quite as easily as the original Honeywell filters do.In most cases, I look at other manufacturer's products when they are cheaper than the OEM products. These filters are more expensive than the Honeywell. For that reason I'm knocking off one star.Good filter - but more expensive than the equally capable Honeywell original. I'd check prices on both and get whichever is less expensive. They both will do the job beautifully.

I really love my Honeywell cool mist humidifier, but it's so hard to buy the filters all the time. These make it easier to stay stocked up! We have soft water, so I really only change about every 3 months but it still gets expensive. These work the same and last just as long.

I was leery of this as a third-party/aftermarket product, given I've been burned pretty badly on them before. But I can't find any of the OEM wick filters, and this seemed like the best available third-party one, so I took it for a go.I am VERY happy with it. The aluminium scaffolding makes it quite a bit sturdier and easier to handle/install than the OEM one. It seems to wick water up as well or better than the OEM one, and lasted for quite a long time (two months?).My only complaint is that it's shipping out of the US and not being fulfilled by Amazon—so getting more of these is taking something like 3 weeks (we'll see if it gets here ahead of the estimated delivery date though!).
