I can't stop recommending this product enough to people. I have a very heavy periods, fibroids, and endometriosis. I have literally been anemic for years. A couple years ago I even had to have some blood transfusions. A year and a half ago I had a $600 iron transfusion, but though it helped some, I was still anemic. My boyfriend bought me SS Tonic, which was my first time trying liquid iron. I did have some minor success with that, but it's expensive to buy in large amounts. After searching for awhile I found this brand and decided to give it a try. First of all the taste is better than SS Tonic, because it doesn't have an alcohol in it. It's still not my favorite, but what can you do? Chase it with some juice. I took it religiously twice a day and I noticed that I started to have a lot more energy. I wasn't running marathons, but I now had energy to do so much more than I was used to. Within a couple months a blood test confirmed I was at a 12.0. The first time I had been non-anemic in years! Sure, it's expensive compared to pills. But for me it's worth it because it doesn't make me nauseous and my body actually absorbs it. I would 100% recommend giving the product a try.

In the early 1990's I received the first Gastric Bypass in the US. In 1 year I went from a size 26 to a size 6 and felt wonderful! Found out I had iron deficiency anemia around 28 weeks pregnant. I was around 10.6 having dropped from 13.5 around 9 weeks pregnant. Dr said to get this. After about 3-4 days of taking 10ml twice a day I could tell my energy level was getting better & I was not as winded walking up stairs or having a rapid heart beat. Almost 3 weeks now taking it & I feel amazing for being in my third trimester. I upped my intake to 15ml twice a day to make sure I was getting enough iron as baby is growing rapidly these days. I don't feel the need to nap during the day nor do I wake up tired. Even though I don't sleep through the night, I feel very refreshed every time I do wake up. I may take this the rest of my life! My 16 daughter has similar symptoms of tiredness, shortness of breath, fast heart beat so now I have her taking it too. She's starting to feel better & has more color in her face despite her fair skin tone. I haven't had my iron levels checked again but I may request them to be at my next Dr appointment just to see. Taste isn't horrible, kind of sweet & doesn't bother my empty stomach. My daughter doesn't like the taste at all though but she can get it down.

When I recently donated blood I was light headed for weeks afterward. I was reminded that I took this potion while pregnant and anemic. When I went to order this Amazon told me "you last bought this in 2011." I came back for it again because it raised my iron levels to normal in just a few weeks. I haven't gotten my levels tested again after blood giving but I feel so much better. I am much less out of breath doing biking and even just walking around for my job.I love the way it tastes. It is medicinal but it tastes like it's good for me.I was reminded again of how the cap and cup are a little poorly designed, but I think it has improved. It is easy to waste a little when you pour it because it tends to drip down the outside of the bottle. I try to pour it closer to eye level to prevent this.

If for some reason you need iron supplement - this product will hit your needs. Mild taste, easy to swallow. Light iron taste in the mouth after using, but easy going away with a swallow of water. The most important thing this product will replenish your iron in a few weeks of taking. Keep cold as it might loose the taste and color.

This is a great product, especially if you have trouble with constipation from iron pills or trouble absorbing iron.I will note that the taste is hard for me to handle.I would appreciate if it came in a smaller bottle option for a lower price because I can’t get through it all without it expiring.

I was recommended this product by my midwife. During my first pregnancy I became extremely anemic. My physician had me take Poly-Iron 150 for 2 weeks to try to raise my hemoglobin levels. Not only did the supplements not work to sufficiently raise my levels, they made me extremely constipated. I ended up having to complete 8 weeks of IV iron infusions to get my levels to where they needed to be. During this pregnancy I started taking this product around 24 weeks. When I had my hemoglobin levels checked at my 28 week appointment, they were right where they should be without the side effects of regular iron supplements. I'm not crazy about the taste, but keeping it in the fridge and chasing it with a little OJ helps a lot.
