it worked on newer siding
I needed to repair some siding and my old siding slider didn't do the trick. The hook was not long enough to grab the underside of the siding and hold it. I found this on amazon and thought I would give it a try, The hook was big enough and strong enough that I was able to re-hook the siding together. Without it, I would probably still be struggling.

Worked great!
This tool worked perfectly to get off the vinyl siding and put it back on. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the red rubbed off on the siding.

Love this thing for siding.
I love this thing, I bought one years ago and I went to buy another and I couldn't find it in the search function and had to find my old purchase to repurchase.

You need this.
So simple yet I'm just now putting this in my tool bag. Small wonder bar coupled with a siding removal end. Brilliant. Now I'm going to add this to my list of things that I didn't think of.

It is about six inches long and doesn't give you good leveral .less
It might be good for light work but it's handle is too short for much leverage. OK on tacks or small nails but you can get tools cheaper.
