BlackBerry Leather Smart Flip Case for BlackBerry PRIV - Retail Packaging - Black

Item arrived quickly, well packaged.Since purchasing my Priv back in 2014, I purchased the hard plastic case to keep it "safe". The plastic case has indeed saved my device from harm as I've dropped it multiple times.But this leather case? INDEED.The device snaps into the case so that it fits securely and snugly, and the front of the case closes over it. The snap on portion of the case makes it easy to access all the buttons and slide the device out for the dedicated physical keyboard.Once you close the front of the case, you receive your notifications that can be read through the little window. Closing the case also shuts down screen display and this is awesome too and can save battery life.It has a small window in the front top-right hand section to see the light notifications and of course, the camera opening on the back.Once the case is closed, all your notifications appear and you can even talk through the case without having to open it.All-in-all, I find the craftsmanship of the case to be well-made and offer good protection for the device but if I could make any improvements on it, it would be to have added some kind of closure to keep the front flap secured.

I originally bought the Blackberry Leather Pouch/Sleeve as this is what I used with my trusty Blackberry Torch, but this just didn't work as well with the Priv. There wasn't a hole for the headphone jack and keeping up with the pouch when I wasn't using it was a pain.The Flip Case solved both issues, the entire bottom of the phone is exposed so you should have no problem connecting to the micro USB and headphone jacks. Also, when I want to use the phone, all I have to do is open the front cover!Now that I've been using it for a couple of days, I feel like I have a different phone. The window feature really adds a lot! I can review and dismiss messages and calls without having to open the case. Also, my music player shows through the window so I can see track info and it also allows me to fast forward to the next track without opening the case!The only downside is that it doesn't fit well on the Blackberry Charger/Cradle I have. Although you can adjust the stand to accept the phone with the case on, the front doesn't close evenly and stays open. The solution is to remove it from the case. (which isn't hard at all).There is a small indention at the top of the phone so the phone speaker is exposed. Call are clear when the case is closed and the NFC function works well through the closed case as well.Another plus is the lack of a BB logo on the front of the case. Instead of people rolling their eyes and saying "You still use a Blackberry??!" when they see it on a table, I get comments like,"Wow, cool phone, is that a new Galaxy?" LOL.I wish I would a have bought this case first, as I now feel the Leather Pocket was a waste of money. The Flip Case adds a whole new dimension to this device!

I have been using this case for a month and a half now. It's attractive and functional. Everything works as described and I would say it's probably the best case available for the Priv. Once snapped into place the case acts as a second skin; it fits snuggly and provides good protection. That said the exterior of the Priv itself is 'grippyer' than this case when it's closed. The leather is smooth and slippery, but when you open it the inside texture has a fine, velvet-like feel that provides a pretty good gripping surface; consequently I keep the case open and flipped around the back of the phone most of the time. In searching for an adequate adhesive sticker of sorts to put on the case I found a ring made for the iphone; it helps but only covers a small area. I've ordered a cell phone/camera grip tape, we'll see......... I would purchase again, but think the case would be better in a heavier textured leather material. The Priv is a heavy phone and thus requires the assistance of an easier to grasp/hold on to exterior surface. Update: I put GT-50 Cell Phone / Camera Grip Tape on the back of the case; works like a charm. Provides the grip needed, now the case is pretty close to perfect.

It is perfect for the wealthy socialite or non-effort-exerting politician.For the other 99% whom have children in childcare, at home sick, whom have extra shift availability notices out at work for more hours even though they're exhausted, waiting on a call from the repair shop when their old car is ready to be picked up for the price of one month of work or 33% of what the car is worth.For everyone else this might not be your choice of covers. It's not designed to be durable, the lid opens in mid flight on the way down to the floor because the phone itself is disproportionate in weight and tends to do as many back flips as an Olympic gymnast in training.On second thought I'll bump it up one more to 3 stars because my screen is still intact.And with a phone as top heavy as Dolly Parton I'd say it's worth one more star.

Love it. It closes perfectly. The back keeps the camera lense from touching whatever surface you are laying the phone on, with the back down. It is light weight. Makes the phone even seem smaller, handier, than my previous case did. The phone fits in the case snugly, just as it should. The volume and mute buttons are easily accessible. You push the power button thru the case hinge and is easily marked where to push. The notifications light is clearly visible thru the case lid, near the top. The lid is real leather but thin. Over all it has a good feel in the hand. I like that I can talk on the phone while the case is closed. Through the window I can see who is calling and answer it, or not. I can read a summary of a text or email. I can also check the weather, and all without having to open the case lid. I have no problem folding the lid back and typing on my physical keyboard or leaving it open like a book and reading my mail, forums, books, etc. All in all, it is just the case I needed and hoped it would be.

Genuine Blackberry product with the quality you'd expect. The case feels and looks really well built and is genuine leather. The "Window" is a great feature as it enables you to unlock the full potential of your Blackberry Priv. You are able to see the clock and notifications. If you swipe the screen through the case you are able to read messages without unlocking and opening the case. Pretty neat! If you have a Priv you should check on here every now and then and grab one when the price is right. I paid £13 for mine which isn't bad at all! Overall - I'm very happy with it :-)

Me encanto el diseño muy original y que puedas ver a través del cuadro tus mensajes, no me gusto que al doblarlo completamente tapa la cámara, por lo cual para tomar imágenes con cámara trasera es imposible de esa forma, pero aún así me gusto mucho la funda

Producto de buena calidad, que se adapta perfectamente al teléfono, tiene unas funcionalidades muy conseguidas así como un precio razonable.

Cet etui est le complément ideal du BlackBerry PRIV (1er Smartphone sous Android de RIM) avec son rabat a fenetre qui fait apparaitre l'heure, la date et les notifications, et la jauge de chargement sur la partie incurvee de l'ecran sur la droite. L'etui ne perturbe aucunement l'utilisation du clavier physique coulissant.Attention, lors de mon achat le 06/01/2016 les photos etaient correctes mais depuis le 08/01/2016 les photos de cet article sont differentes (la description n'a pas change et correspond a l'etui avec rabat)

Ho acquistato il Blackberry Priv con qualche dubbio, ritenendo il sistema operativo BB10 il migliore sul mercato.Dopo oltre una settimana dall'acquisto, mi devo ricredere: il Priv unisce la sicurezza e l'efficacia di Blackberry con le opportunità di Android.Veloce, intuitivo e ben rifinito come pochi, si pone al livello di vertice degli smartphone sul mercato attuale.Fotocamera impareggiabile e, come nel sistema operativo BB, Blackberry Hub che consente di vedere raggruppati - in un'unica schermata - tutta la messaggistica. Impareggiabile, come anche la sicurezza fornita da BB DTek.Esteticamente, con i bordi ricurvi, superiore agli altri smartphone della stessa gamma di mercato.Blackberry, ancora una volta, non tradisce la sua clientela.
