Holds like crazy
I went from Clubman to this stuff. It's night and day. Clubman could be called a cream compared to this 'stache wax. Now the instructions will say to scrape some with your nail and ball it up and melt it between thumb and forefinger. This doesn't work for me, I guess I'm not hot enough. So what I've been doing is scraping, balling then using a small heat gun, I'm a man and I don't mess with my wife's hairdryer(macho jokes, I don't think my wife owns a hairdryer), melt the wax on my finger and very quickly smear it in to the 'stache. I do this till I've got enough in the 'stache to start styling. I then use my little heatgun again to heat it up in my 'stache and get to styling and forming. It disappears once styled in, the smell is amazing and it freaking holds all day. I do live in an arid climate but it is windy af daily here. Oh yea, they included a little guitar pick for scraping or jammin', but I still just use my finger nail.

It literally is a candle
I ignored the bad reviews and thought maybe user error, but they were right. This is exactly like a candle. I swear the formula is off and they might know it, but are sticking w/ it. Love the scent, the packaging and all that, but the wax does not ever come close to being a malleable substance that can be used. Zero chance of scrapping a bit off and then rubbing it between your fingers to use friction to heat it up. Absolutely zero chance. I used a blow dryer and it starts to melt a bit, exactly like a candle and as soon as you pull the heat away and stick your finger in it, the wax hardens instantly. Literally instantly. Exactly like if you dip your finger in hot wax and pull it away. And if you some how manage to mush some of it into your mustache, it flakes up something fierce and just looks like you stuck your face into a bowl of sugar. All of which is,at this point,is glued in and the only way out is to wash your stash very thoroughly and start again. I tried 6 times over the last couple days really trying to make it work. It just doesn't. I'd be open to trying a different blend from them, maybe one not straight from Yankee Candle Company. Not trying to be a smart Alec here, but it's rather difficult not to laugh a bit at how insanely difficult, to futile this product is to use. Hoping customer service will get back to me and I can update this, because just because I feel this particular product is very unusable, doesn't mean I dislike the company as a whole and they can still get a decent review purely based on customer service. But, all in all guys who own this company. Please rework this formula, because despite the 5 star reviews, this is not a satisfactory or proper product. Thanks for your time whoever may read this.

heavy hold
Strong hold for long days. Wax is hard and requires some warming before it can be comfortably used. Once softened a bit you are good for the day.

Very lightweight moustache wax. Better suited for short styles.
This wax may be a good option as a styling agent for relatively short moustache styles, but in my experience it fails to have the necessary level of strong hold for anything approaching a solid handlebar mustache.Texture when warm is...greasy. I don't know how else to describe it. While working with it, I wasn't able to get any level of tacky/stickiness to catch in my handlebar to aid in twisting, let alone getting a tight curl to hold. Whether doing so by hand per the instructions or using a small hair dryer to warm the product, it was too slippery to be of use.Pros: Both the citrus and sandalwood scents are pleasant, which is good considering they'll be under your nose all day. In addition, it's relatively easy to wash out compared to the pine tar based brands I've sworn off of.I don't want to disparage this product entirely as it's a niche sort of item and it takes a labor of love to bring them to market, but I think it's important to say it's probably better for short styles or those who are just growing out a handlebar and need a little support. As a grooming agent to keep shorter styles looking neat and clean, this product may be a good fit, but calling it an "extra hold" mustache wax is a miss.Edited to add:Within a day of my review posting here, a refund for this item appeared in my Amazon account, even though I posted this review a few months after receiving the product. These sellers are A+ and care about their customers. Their product didn't work well for my hardier, long handlebar, but I do think it may be a good product for others. If your style is shorter, doesn't have a deep curl, or is possibly finer hair, you may find it's a good match for you. Do give it a try and support the companies that support us guys looking good every day.

Perfect
I’ve been buying this product for a few years now I keep it in stock. I keep a tin and all of my cars, each bathroom, my locker at work as well as my desk drawer. And never leave home without one in my pocket. The price is fantastic and the product holds very well. I have a very long, handlebar mustache and keep it styled every day. It washes out easily with soap and water. The only downside for me being a fireman it does not hold up to being inside my scba face mask and the heat. But I can easily wash it out on scene with a splash of water and restyle it while rehabbing. As long it’s most mustache wax products you need to make sure the hair is dry before applying or it will droop. I love it, and would be a spokesperson for them if I could. (I am not, just and honest review)
