Philadelphia Candies Pecan Caramel Nougat Log, 6 Ounce (Pack of 1)

Am revising my previous review. Company replaced the damaged egg. The replacement is great. Lots of nuts and a smooth creamy center.

My only problem with these they’re so damn good. I can eat one every night love love love them

Around the late 60s or early 70s a popular local Christmas seasonal favorite was a type of pecan log. I can't recall what company made them. (Jolly Rancher? Russell Stover? Some other company?) In any event, they became unavailable and I've never seen them since.Since the pecan logs from Philadelphia Candies look so much like what I remember, I tried them. They are very close to the pecan logs I fondly remember. These are quite different from the pecan logs often found on road trips because they are larger, have a different type of nougat, and have more of a coating of caramel around the nougat.I wish these were more widely available. I gave one as a gift and it disappeared very quickly; obviously I'm not the only one that likes them!

Disgusting, It has to be the brand. I eat at least on of these amazing year around Easter.

Carmel too sticky. Ok, but not worth for price

This arrived today and I was eager to try it. What a disappointment. I guess I’m spoiled because we have Mary Sur Eggs in Baltimore. It was generously covered in pecans but the was no flavor even from the nuts. Definitely not worth the price, I will not order again.

Nice candy like I remember when we brought them back when we went south. The pecans were whole but not as fresh a when to get them from stores that make them They are really good

Absolutely delicious candy! Nuts were plump and flavorfull, nougat was light, fluffy and heavenly. Will definitely be purchasing again and again and again!😋
