Perfect for descaling hot water boiler/despenser
I own 2 Japanese hot water boiler/ dispensers. I used to order a box of pot cleaner (about $8) that contained 3 or 4 small packets of citric acid in order to descale the pots. One of my dispenser is almost 20 years old and the other is about 10. They are Zojirushi pots and still functioning beautifully after all these years except one thing. They build scale inside the pot much quicker than years ago. Since the large capacity of each pot I have to use 2 to 3 packets each every 3 months or so. Frustrated by this maintenance costs, I was thinking about making them retire and buy new ones for a fresh start. Then I saw this bulk package and thought why not try this to see if it worked. I was surprised to see how clean the pot looked after 6 hour acid therapy!! I used 6 TBS in each of my pot. The result is much better than the descaling packet specifically made for those hot water dispensers. I am like...why did I not do this until now? Highly, highly recommended!!

Cleans Like A Dream
This stuff is fantastic! I originally bought this citric acid to descale my hot water heater from the mineral buildup, but soon started using it to clean other hard-to-remove stains as well. All I had to do was add a tablespoon or so of this stuff to my water heater and it took care of the rest. After soaking (and boiling) for about an hour, I dumped the water and it was 90% all removed. This stuff was CAKED on, though. I hadn't cleaned it out in about a year (yikes), yet after I did a second cleaning, the rest of it came off. I've also used this to remove tea stains from pots and cups which works wonders. I was previously using baking soda which sort of worked, but this was much harder on the stains. Unlike using vinegar, this citric acid didn't really leave much of a smell at all. Which is perfect for my tea, because no one wants to drink vinegar tasting tea...well probably ;). If you've got tough stains or descaling that needs to be done, then I highly recommend using this over other alternatives.

Exactly like it should've been
My acid shipped and arrived on time, and I have no complaints about the packaging or anything like that. I bought this to try to make homemade pop rocks. I tried it this weekend and it was a colossal failure :p it was not the fault of the citric acid though. I think making pop rocks is much more difficult than desired. It's hard to get the citric acid and the baking soda not to react before the candy sets and you eat it. But anyway...The citric acid is food grade and it's great, the product came exactly as described, and I'm sure I'll find a way to use all my extra! I'm going to go search for more recipes...

Makes bathtime fizzy and fun
I bought this to make bath products, and it's worked perfectly for my needs. I've used almost the whole bag making bath bombs for my kids (it's amazing how easy it is to get them into the tub when it's all fizzy and smells yummy) and I haven't had a "dud" bomb yet. The packaging is secure, and I stored it in the bag it came in. I did not have a problem with moisture seeping in, so no need to dump it into another container for storage. I couldn't ask for anything more in a citric acid. Tried and true, so I will continue to order this brand.

Great for bath bombs!!
I ordered this for my daughter's new bath bomb making habit/hobby. Bath bombs are great, but pretty $$ as well. We ordered a mold kit and supplies and hers turn out just as nice as commercially made ones! This bag of citric acid is a bargain; it works perfectly in her bath bombs. 2# will last awhile for sure! Just add Epsom salts, baking soda and essential oils and good to go!!

Love this for cleaning and descaling!
I love to use citric acid for cleaning and descaling. I use it for my washer and dishwasher, coffee maker, water heater, and to get rid of water spots in miscellaneous areas throughout the kitchen and bathroom. I love it as it works so much better than other cleaning products. For example, you can see the clean sparkle on the metal inside of the dishwasher afterwards, so you can tell it did a good job. My husband hates the smell of vinegar, so that also makes this the perfect alternative for descaling products.

Natural Cleaner among other things.
I sent this to my daughter in Texas to use to clean her diffuser of any left over oils and to use in cleaning her home. It was part of her diffuser birthday present. She has had no complaints and I am assuming that she is liking the more natural cleaning products she can make with Ajent Citric Acid. She did say that it arrived on time and was in good condition. Hmmm, Maybe she hasn't cleaned with it yet. I'll have to check.

I must have for anyone who owns a dishwasher!
Purchased this to use a spoonful or two in each load in my dishwasher so my dishes would not have that awful white deposit on them and it works great for that. Saves a ton of money on buying the other products that are made to do that exact same thing.Plus-it's natural, so it's not harmful if residue get left on your dishes, which it does not.
