Solid Top Ukulele; Well Made; Exceptional Value — Recommended!
This review is for the 24” Aiersi Concert Ukulele with a Solid Mahogany Top and Laminate Back and Sides. You get a very nicely made ukulele that is somewhat plain in appearance—but is definitely a solid top. I purchased when it was under $40; an exceptional purchase. The tone is bright and loud with a lot of overtones; however the strings limit the amount of sustain. I would change strings to a fluorocarbon—of any kind. The bag isn’t great; you’ll want to get a nicer one, and if you live somewhere that relative humidity drops under 40%, you will want to humidity the ukulele as it is a solid top.I only have two issues with the ukulele. First, it does have side position markers at this time, and they are needed. Second, while they did a good job of book matching the sound board, one small section, no larger than 1/2” is not glued together under the bridge. If you don’t hold the ukulele in bright light you can’t see it, but it is there. A view internally shows that the joint is braced up the ukulele so I don’t think there is any risk of a further separation, but I will put some Tite Bond in that little part and seal it.Other than that, it is well made, sounds good, and I would definitely recommend it! I highly, highly recommend it with fluorocarbon strings!

Very good and light!
It is a really nice uke to begin with. The strings are nylon hence requires good grip of fingers which is a good deal for beginners to learn the chord and finger strumming. A good buy! It is a very pretty uke and very light weight!

Well made, solid ukulele. Not fancy or stylish but a great starter.
My father has played guitar his whole life and we we've been looking for a starter ukulele for him to teach my daughter. She is very petite and even the age appropriate guitars are just too much for her to handle at age six. I was happy to order and give this one a try. This is a solid wood ukulele that comes already strung and somewhat tuned. The fret-board is roughly the same size as a standard guitar but shorter. Everything about this seems pretty solid and secure. It's very plain so if your looking for something with style or dazzle this wont be it. I think my daughter has a few choice stickers to apply to jazz it up and make it unique to her. That aside, it got a good tone to it and resonates well. The bag it comes in is nothing more that a dust bag so it you plan on traveling with this you may need something a bit more heavy duty. This is definitely a good value and seems like it will handle the test of time.
